PG: Knicks-Heat aka Pass the Dutch

Maybe I’m in the minority but I thought this was a pretty entertaining game. Great to see us compete with a team that made it to the finals. We building a winning culture here.

It was a good game , Spo adjusted in the 4th with the trapping and we kinda couldn’t adjust fast enough. For all the **** folks giving Thibs this game he actually made the right adjustments all game, especially by having Burks, IQ and Bullock on the floor. Honestly a ball handler like Rose actually would have been needed this situation as the Heat wouldn’t let us get any clean looks from three but we didn’t have anyone break down the defense or get in the paint to make them shift.

2. did he deserve more than 10 minutes?

Thibs handling of RJ and Payton is absolutely shameful.

Think I might take a break from the Knicks because I expect more of the same with the addition of Rose and RJ's minutes steadily decreasing despite him carrying the Knicks all season long with Randle.

Disgusting loss. Well-deserved I guess.

I turned off the game the moment that Thibs pulled Quickley and reinserted Payton. I'm glad that they lost.

No one has any patience. But, with the Knicks history I can understand that.

The problem with that attitude is some folks will be so happy if we get to the playoffs with an 8th seed and get swept. With no player development.

I don't have the answers. All I know is this roster is talent deficient, and should not be adding another selfish vet in Rose that won't be here next year. So stupid. But that's the Knicks for ya..

I had to do a double take reading this tweet.

This is a message to RJ

I get it's annoying if we look at Payton, but I don't think every word out of a coaches mouth should be looked at as if they are gold standard statements that apply to the whole team.

I'm annoyed at IQ and RJ not getting minutes but it's just possible cutting guys minutes when they don't execute helps young players develop. Meaning, there are multiple paths that are used to develop players and teams use most of them.

Paytons minutes are maddening but I can try to see the flip side for the org.

Obi will be good when he gets actual minutes. He's been showing glimpses the last few games. His teammates always miss him on cuts and stuff though.

Obi is a backup PF at best.

Knicks needed a PG in the worst way, and took that stiff instead of taking Haliburton. Imagine how the Knicks would look right now with Haliburton running the show? It would be a very exciting up and coming team. Instead we draft a bum to back up our All-Star bum, Randle.

This all explains it. RJ just experienced having to say goodbye to a young teammate he's grown with. He had no energy for the game.

Obi was ok. Started off horrible but played better later on. He probably could’ve used some more minutes but nothing to really complain about imo.

And this happens multiple times EVERY GAME. It's infuriating.

Obi is legit doing an amazing job in terms of reading defenses and being smart and decisive off the ball, and nobody on this team - even IQ - can find him.

THEY WERE ABLE TO SEE THIS AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT AT THE F*CKING UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON FOR CHRISTS SAKE.
