This is what some of you want.

What a great post. Maximizing your points in the lowest amount of words possible.

You nailed it. But hey.. let's get that 8th seed and secure the 20th pick in the draft. Maybe we can draft another PF.

True, but that's only because they know the Knicks have no one else on the roster to be concerned about. It's not like IQ is Dame Lillard or something.

Miami knew if they took out IQ, the Knicks couldn't do a damn thing. Get used to this happening more and more. That's if Rose doesn't take all of IQ's minutes.

looks like the more you ask thibs the same question the more cliche thing he'll say.

He was ready to take out Obi when he airballed the three. Thibs just got unlucky he was already subbing Randle in, when Obi got the dunk before the timeout.

This is a message to RJ

I get it's annoying if we look at Payton, but I don't think every word out of a coaches mouth should be looked at as if they are gold standard statements that apply to the whole team.

I'm annoyed at IQ and RJ not getting minutes but it's just possible cutting guys minutes when they don't execute helps young players develop. Meaning, there are multiple paths that are used to develop players and teams use most of them.

Paytons minutes are maddening but I can try to see the flip side for the org.

I absolutely understand benching RJ and Quickley when they're not executing or playing defense. I don't mind them being held to a higher standard, so to speak.

But there needs to be some level of balance and fairness about the way other players are being treated then.

If it's the mantra, fair enough, but some level of consistency is to be expected. Today's game was the opposite of that.

It wasn’t a message to RJ , that answer came in reply to a question of what Obi has to do to get more minutes in crunch time, basically Thibs said he likes what he sees from him in games and he’s working hard in practice, he’s still learning to know where to be on the floor and understand matchups defensively.

This is true, however, it can also lead to frustration when guys like Payton are taking your PT. It’s a double standard. I get Thibs philosophy but he could easily shoot himself in the foot.

This game probably shows that we need a PG that has handles because this looked like a CYO game.

Yeah I’m not even that upset really. Wish we could’ve beat them tho.. fk Miami

How could you not be upset? This roster is horrible, and on top of it, Thibs burys any potential 'youth movement' we have. It's the same Knicks as always. Nothing has changed, other than competing for that ever-exciting 8th seed, which will do nothing for this pathetic franchise except allow us to miss out on any talent in a stacked draft.

If you're happy with playing a team full of **** vets to get a few more wins, I feel sorry for you.
