How could you not be upset? This roster is horrible, and on top of it, Thibs burys any potential 'youth movement' we have. It's the same Knicks as always. Nothing has changed, other than competing for that ever-exciting 8th seed, which will do nothing for this pathetic franchise except allow us to miss out on any talent in a stacked draft.

If you're happy with playing a team full of **** vets to get a few more wins, I feel sorry for you.

you should change your name to SameOldKnicks

....but on a serious note, I 100% agree w/ you

That would have been so much better. I wish I would have thought of that.

And good to hear there are a few of us out there who can take off the goggles and see the reality of the Knicks situation.

not gonna get it but playing like one.

Sabonis is gonna get in over him which imo isn’t deserving. But oh well

We should call thibs ozymandias cuz hes consistently **** up our future for his meaningless wins now. And we didnt even win.

Initiating the countdown until this fat **** trades away all of our youth and picks to become an over achieving 5 seed in the east.

Ps.. Miller is a way better coach than thibs and cheaper as well. You got bamboozled

less than 2 months into the Thibs-era and I already hate him. and this was so predictable. he hasn't changed! we all knew going in he liked his vets and he'd play them big minutes. and now he's bringing back his pal DRose who is a shell of his former self just cuz they have a pre-existing relationship

the few extra wins we have rn are not worth it IMO. I'd rather have a coach like Kenny Atkinson who can develop young talent while playing them

Can't teach an old dog new tricks. Thibs has never believed in rooks or even 2nd year players. He makes good vet teams great. He is the worst choice for a youth movement. What were the knicks thinking??

The bulls were a young team that he made great

What rookies played extensive minutes on those teams?

truly feel rose is here to have iq play more off ball because lets be honest, iq can't keep heaving the ball crosscourt when the double team comes.

Kenny was my clear #1 the minute he got fired in Brooklyn

Nets literally made the blueprint for what the Knicks should be doing, and the Knicks had a chance to get the same coach who rebuilt that organization....and give him more resources than he ever had to work w/ in BKN

Man that would have been great. I seriously don't understand the Thibs hire. Makes no sense with this roster.

So Under Thibs we:

1. Make Julius Randle the #1 option
2. turn the guy we were to build around (RJ) into a role player
3. ride with sucky players Payton, Bullock, Rivers
4. slow the growth of Quickley and Obi
5. completely forget about guys like Knox
6. and acquire Taj and Rose instead of giving the minutes to Obi and Quickley

Yeah, I'm not good with this as all.

I've been lurking for years. I finally broke the seal because I needed to scream to some other people about the frustration I'm feeling about this franchise. They can't seem to do anything right.

it doesn't matter. welcome back whoever you are.

Thanks. You won't believe me but I enjoy your posts more than most. You usually provide value. And much needed humor.

Can't believe we are probably going to give a washed up D. Rose 30 minutes a game because Thibs can't let go of the past

Yeah, I'm not good with this as all.

But I mean we're competing for the privelage of getting swept in the playoffs. That has to count for something

We’ll always have that 20+ game stretch of our kids helping drive us up the standings.

Gave us a glimmer of hope

Who are all these young guys the Heat plays and how old are they?

no matter who and when. Herro, Nunn, Robinson last season. Achiuwa this season. they are a finals team and play rookies. we are 3 games under .500 and play a top 10 pick 10 minutes a game.

Nunn and Robinson are 25 and 26, thats the same age as Payton, Noel and Randle.
RJ is younger than Herro and averages more minutes than him.

Return to New York Knicks
