Bam was buried on the bench for 2 years for Whiteside

They also tanked for Winslow and got rid of him 4 years later because he was mediocre. But we are supposed to hold on to our scrubs for a decade!

That guy FN11 was coming at me in the game thread talking bout I’m mad we got rid of DSJ. I can cares less about his bum ass

5. completely forget about guys like Knox
6. and acquire Taj and Rose instead of giving the minutes to Obi and Quickley

Yeah, I'm not good with this as all.

For anyone who has paid attention to this franchise for more than 7 years, they understand your point. Same ole Knicks.

I don't even understand the commitment to making Julius the focal point of the roster. I don't think he'll be around when the Knicks actually build a team who competes. I like Julius, I just don't think he's a #1 on a great team.

Oh I beg to differ. At this rate I think Thibs has his #1 guy and Randle will be resigning long term for star $$$. Buckle up.

It all boils down to management and not Thibs.

Who's coaching this team? Who's collecting former bulls like they pokemon cards? Yea the management sucks, but it's thibs fat ass running the show

I mean ..who hired Thibs? And like did you expect Thibs to....not be Thibs? We signed him knowing who he was. That’s not his fault.

Good point. Thibs is going to be Thibs. This Rose move should not surprise anyone.

Based on the Knicks history, you're right. They'll max out Randle and the Knicks will be trash for 5 more years.

Thibs got the job because he convinced our FO that he's changed but he's doing the same thing he did in Minnesota

who said we should? trade or cut them today. I don't care since they won't play anyway.

They already have: Trier, Dotson and now DSJ are gone. Frank is next and maybe Knox. Every draft pick is not going to be a future of the team, thats part of rebuilding... finding out who to get rid of

I think Thibs thought RJ didn't stick to DRob very well. Is this the first time Thibs saw DRob? Didn't he watch him last season? DRob is arguably in same league as Steph who just needs a sliver of space to knock down a shot, doesn't matter who you put on him.

snadler wrote:Obi played very well, but 9 minutes..smh

I think 13th pick 18yo rookie Kobe got 15mpg. A 8th pick 22yo rook can't get 10-12 mins?

If it plays out like Minnesota, expect a trade where we give up too much for someone who will be a FA in a year. We'll be in the mix for Beal this summer with RJ, Quickley, our pick and the Mavs pick being the foundation of the trade. You can see this coming a mile away.

seems like obi and IQ are next in line.
but anyway, I am trying to enjoy the super bowl instead of our depressing idiotic franchise.

My fanduel lineups and the Knicks are two different things, I will load up with Nets players & or Kristaps when the price is right.

Randle being an all-star is nightmare fuel, cause we gonna throw the bag at him if he is. I can't have that.

Rose is here because Thibs loves Rose and Thibs loves vets. Thibs believes Rose will get him a few more wins, which will allow the Knicks to possibly make the playoffs. Those are the only reasons.
