1. Are Pels tanking? What would Lonzo cost in trade?
2. What will Lonzo cost to resign this summer?
3. How would Lonzo fit w the Bulls? We have plenty of offense. Need defense and passing in the worst way.
Is lonzo really a good complimentary player for Zion?

1. We're not tanking. Trade value is an interesting point. Are you asking players or picks?
2. Between 19 and 25 mil per
3. Lonzo is all defense this season - no question. Passing wise, he doesn't warp defenses like his brother, but he's kinda nifty in a 'oh nice pass' rather than a 'what a **** pass!' type way in the half court

Both. What would a trade with the Bulls look like?
Are you looking to improve post trade for this season?

Chicago has been rumoured as a spot for Zo
Always looking to improve
Replacing Zo's defense will be the hard part
Zo for Williams and filler?

I don’t see AK giving up assets. Maybe expiring and a 2nd.

In theory, yes. Especially if the shooting had kept up or comes back around. He's a good defender that can help on the boards, both of which Zion needs help with, and he's a willing and able passer which is great for a guy like Zion who's so dangerous in transition and off ball.
But you need to build around that and given they've got Ingram I can't blame them for focusing more on him and getting Zion more on ball reps. Unfortunately for Lonzo that leaves him spotting up in the half court, which isn't ideal for him even if he was still shooting 37% from 3.
Basically, Lonzo is a Rubio type of player; valuable in the right situation but struggles outside of that.

Lonzo is completely excelling in this role
Why... why would you say that?

Ya that is kind of exactly why I think Lonzo can be a great fit alongside Zion/Ingram. Even in college Lonzo wasn’t great at creating half court offense.
Lonzo the last 10 games is pretty much the ideal PG to pair with Ingram/Zion. Elite defense, elite catch and shoot and making smart decisions with the ball in his hands.
If anything the Pels need to continue to get Ingram and a Zion the ball even more. They don’t touch the ball nearly enough for how good they are.

Let’s take a step back for a second. I agree that Zo can. Bea high variability player, in particular because his half court game relies on a high variability shot, the three, but he does affect the game in other ways with assists rebounds and ball movement.
Now I gotta push back on some of the statements made today. The Pels starters have a plus 9.6 net rating which is one of the highest in league for lineups that have gotten a lot of minutes. Zo and Z are plus 6 this year and plus 9.8 last year. Adam’s and Z are a plus 5.6. So the lineup with Bled and Adams is working.
It may not look pretty but it has been effective. What has killed us are our bench lineups. Hayes was put in a position to fail. He’s a drop coverage pick and roll big and our team hedges pick and rolls and runs very little pick and roll with him. Having said that, he has been flammable on D, as has Zion when Adam’s is t thereto clean it up.
With a better bench big sits, this team is 2 or 3 games better, and we aren’t even having this conversation.
All of this to say, Lonzo’s fit is less of a problem than his long term cost. That is where I have concerns. The ideal pg for this team would be able to create easy looks for for Z and BI, and then sit back and space the floor when either of them are cooking. He’s such a unique player that I worry about trying to find complimentary players to fit his game when he isn’t the priority.
