1st page real estate!

Looks like Cade is starting to breakaway from the pack as the #1 pick. One can dream.

Ooooooh so much potential with the poll... I really like the idea of trying to get a little more nuanced with regard to team direction, than trying to put people into two camps with rigid ideas... We are doing way too much of that these days in the world. Nice!

Why would you want a 6 foot 8 point guard when you have 54 point Fred Vanvleet?

Option 2. The number one thing Masai and Bobby gotta do is sell off Norm to the highest bidder right now, his value has never been higher and putting him back on the bench would kill his value and give him all the more reasons to walk.

Not concerned about a Lowry trade if there’s one to be made it will be done he has good value.

After some consideration, I voted for the second option. As much as I like seeing this team compete, just looking at our upcoming schedule, I fear we're going to be floundering around the .500 mark for the next 10 games. At best, I think we're 4-6. I kind of wish we'd go on a longer losing streak so as to force Masai's hand.

Stay the course for now. If we go 2-8 over our next ten then you consider selling. If we go 8-2 then you consider buying. Obviously if we find crazy good deals in either direction then it makes sense to take those regardless of which direction we're headed.

I can change it if you would like.

Don't really see where the bias lies but, go ahead.

What other option did you have in mind?

Why organic growth? No option for transactions? Like ya know, when we traded our way to a championship that took down the warriors dynasty

Added to the poll, but a trade like Kawhi will never happen again under those circumstances.

Not even going to lie I enjoyed watching the bosh raptors over this group we have. Atleast back then people knew we sucked and we could joke about it. Now we just suck and people can't admit reality and just attack posters for saying the team is bad.

Excuses used so far
1) nba hates Canada
2)refs are against us
3)female refs shouldn't be in nba because it's a man's sport
4) why do we play back to backs nba hates us
5) our 15th man missed a game its why we lost
6) we play in America now its why we lost
7) no fans its why we lost
8) players not used to playing in the warmth its why we lost

Not once have I seen one of these dudes just admit that this roster isn't equipped to compete there is always a reason or some conspiracy

I agree there could have been some more nuance and possibly some further choices in directions, but it has the right idea of trying to find some common ground and give & take. How would you improve it?

My poll might have looked like this Steelo

• TWO: True tank... Sell all assets and start hoping to land a Top 5 pick through the Lottery
• Asset-Building Mode: Trade Powell/Lowry but Keep Long-Term Core
• Asset-Building Mode: Wait Until Trade Deadline and Let Lowry Make His Own Call
• Buyer Mode: Trade Multiple Picks/Players to Get Star... Continue Competing with Lowry
• Organic Growth Mode: Likely Means Waiting Until Offseason Unless No-Brainer Trade Presents Itself

Was in the camp of taking a step back like the Golden State Warriors last year.

Their winning culture wasn't forever damaged when they retooled with a 2nd overall pick, along with a potential goldmine of Minnesota's 1st this year.

Short term pain for long term gain.

Instead we're probably going all in Vucevic or Drummond which does nothing to move the needle.

Nice... Wasn't expecting a change to my liking though... :D I'm sure someone will take issue with those choice directions as well... Can't please everybody. Either way your idea was sound, about trying to find some common ground for discussion and to see where people stand percentage wise.

I amended my pick to "Asset building mode: waiting until the deadline Lowry makes his call" though I think if we get blown away by an offer in either direction you have to take that. Front office has an obligation to do what's best for the franchise.
