There’s no hate.
Some are young and can wait 10 more years for Ben to develop. Maybe they haven’t has much experience to see how much incoming talent there is every year.
Im not as old as some here, but I believe that you have to have no sentimental value to any talent. Unless you have an all time great talent like Steph Curry or Embiid, and if you fail, there’s an ABUNDANT pool of talent to make up for it.
There’s always subtle hate from you, admit it
There’s always a jab from you here and there on Simmons, you tried to decorate it with some info that is sometimes irrelevant.
Nothing wrong with hating on a player, but no point hiding it.

I wouldn't say he hates Simmons. But got too excited about the thought of a James Harden (who wouldn't have helped this team win this year), started denigrating Ben, and is now hell bent on proving he's right about what would happen to the team that gets Harden and about upgrading Ben.
Just My Observation.
Yup. I dont hate Ben.
I even said Biid should be the one who should adjust his game for Ben by shooting more. This was was when people were saying Biid should play more bully ball in the post and Ben should sacrifice his game by shooting.
I even like Al last season because I expect it to be beneficial for Ben. Having Al allows Ben to be defended by smaller players, which happened alot when Ben is matched-up with opponent PG frequently. Which it was really effective when were winning as well as we are right now at this part of the season, last season. Then things went down from there. If im not mistaken we were still projected to be the champion by 538, even before the allstar game.
I flip flop a lot. Because when Im wrong and when the game changes, i also change my opinion.
And from what Ive seen, offense is just too overpowered right now. Actually I’m thinking about creating a thread in the gen board about how predictable games are.
Its like it’s just basically divided into 3 layers.
Garbage (first quarter)
Regular (second quarter to late third) <= game is usually close by this point
Trading Baskets (late third to end of game) <= scoring battle like an allstar game between scorers
I noticed this a lot during the bubble playoffs. Specially in the Jazz-Nuggets series. When murray and mitchell was basically running 1-5 PnR.
Ive always point out the last 5 mins of the Raps game as a more relatable example. This is where you’ll see Ben is just at the dunker spot. While sure he can give Kawhi a hard time to score, but Kawhi would just pull up after calling a screen.
If you want a more recent example. Watch the recent Nets-Clips game, nets-cavs game and the Nets-Celtics game.
If you understand this, you’ll realize why the Celts always is a superior team than ours even if we always feel like we’re the more talented team. Brad Stevens and the Celtics understood this and have always built a system and roster that caters to this nature of play.
I just find Ben’s effectively declines from garbage to regular to trading baskets. He’s most effective now during garbage when teams plays meaningless basketball, with soft defense and a lot of transition. It’s like during the boxing match when boxers would throw jabs early on.
Lastly, i dont think i have to prove that trading Ben for Harden is the right move. Even Morey EVENTUALLY agreed with this when he almost traded Ben for Harden. There’s no argument that trading for Harden is the right move.
The question now is do you trade Ben for Beal or Lavine. Im also not sure with that but im leaning towards yes. But then, I dont think Wiz and Bulls are looking to trade either guys right now.
So for the mean time, just enjoy the show.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
