I have this as Gordon, Bertans, and for now anyway, Kemba. I can see a bad team talking itself into Porzingis or Harris for cap space because their F.A. options won't necessarily be better. But I don't think that's happening with the first three guys.

Can't decide between Buddy, Bertans, and KP. But despite my very real concerns about KP's health and his level of play for that matter, I do think teams could still talk themselves into a "unicorn" even if it were a mistake. So its between Buddy and Bertans.

I think Buddy Hield has to be the choice. He's a good shooter but hardly an elite one and he offers nothing else and he has shown he's willing to create problems when unhappy.

What would it take?

I choose KP from this list but I agree Gobert has to be on here. I love Gobert as a player just nowhere near his contract.

Eric Gordon is so far, having arguably the best season of his career. Minutes adjusted, highest PPG average, and the most efficient

That’s with him having a rough start shooting wise too, during the first handful of games with Harden. What has stood out the most since day 1 of preseason, is that he looks really good physically, he’s been flat out quicker then we’ve ever seen him which is bizarre considering he’s older, but he had some nagging injuries, had a cleanup surgery on his knee, and is the best he’s been physically in a long time.

His last year is only guaranteed if he makes an all star game or all nba team, meaning it’s just 100% non guaranteed lol. His contract is 18 mill per over the next 3 seasons.

IMO, he’s borderline neutral value at this point, 18 ppg on 61.5 TS% with good defense would be impossible to get on the market for much cheaper then what he’s making. Even if he regresses to his mean in Houston, which is likely, he’s still easily worth around 12-14 mill per. Him being anywhere near top 10 worst contracts just isn’t right
