Why, because he has one more title? MJ was 6 for 6 with 6 finals mvps. Brady is 7 of 10 with 5 superbowl mvps. That means he wasn't even the best player in half of the superbowls he played in. MJ was always the best.

I like it for the Knicks. Now Thibs can start Quickley and not worry about who is going to score off the bench with Rose coming off the bench.

Knicks are very likely to make the playoffs if they start Quickley and both him and RJ continue their development.

I saw MJ has more MVPs. It’s about even.

And Rose can make it full circle when signs a free agent contract with the Bulla in the off-season and retires in a few years.

MJ over Brady all day every day. Brady only plays on one side of the ball. He wasn't responsible for that Bucs defense having its best game of the season and that front four having Mahomes run for his life. Let's not forget Brady played great against Philly but lost because the side of the ball he had nothing to do with was obliterated by Foles.
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

Two different sports so its not the same.

What Brady did this year was ridiculous tho. The man is 43. And when you realize Tom has more Superbowl wins than any other franchise (6) this feat may never be broken in the NFL.

What Brady has done in his career, is the equivalent of a current NBA player winning 9+ NBA titles. Its ridiculous.

I think he's the GOAT for football. But you only play one side of the ball and he had a great defense. In half the superbowls he's played in he wasn't the MVP. MJ was 6 for 6 with 6 finals mvps. The dominance he had at his peak was unbeatable.

Surprised Rose didn't lead that chart of least helped...trying to remember anyone other than Derrick ever scoring 30 during the peak Rose era.

I mean we all got excited when Bogans scored 6 points.

Assuming it would have been Ben Gordon.

I remember John Salmons dropping like 35 in Game 6 vs the Celtics.

Edit: just looked that series up. So Rose has had 5 games where someone went over 30 according to that list. Well 3 of those were in that series his rookie season. Gordon twice and Salmons once.

I like it, too. Rose will improve the Knicks, who (rightly or not) wish to make the playoffs, and he should be a useful role model for Quickley. Meanwhile, the Knicks gave up essentially nothing -- a player who actively hurts them when he's on the court, plus a second round pick.

Nothing lost, perhaps something gained. That works for me.

Absolutely but Brady's peak was never as good as MJ's.

Getting Vonleh was a great signing for the Nets.

They had no bigs on the roster other than Jordan. He may not be an amazing rim protector but he certainly helps securing the boards.

The nets are going to be major players in post trade dealine/waiver deals.
