Can he play PF at all?
I'd really like us to get help there. But overall, I like the move. Pelle might be a little too raw to contribute as much as I like him and his tools.

He's 6'10 but he's not much of a shot blocker.

Right but he can guard guys like
T.Harris
Giannis
Siakam
Etc?
Would like to rely less on KD and Green at PF taking on bigger wings/PFs.

It's a good signing, I think he will play PF. He certainly has been better as a PF in his career.
PG: Irving | Brown | Johnson
SG: Harden | Shamet | Shumpert
SF: Harris | TLC
PF: Durant | Green | Vonleh
C : Jordan | Pelle | Claxton

I'd my memory serves me right he's not someone that can really defend those guys. Don't remember him having particularly great defensive foot work.

I doubt he plays the 4. I think he will see the bulk of the Center minutes that go to green and green will move back to PF, I think you will see alot of Green/Vonleh together. Nash isnt going to go big. Its more likely Vonleh gets DNP-CDs then it is he becomes a rotational PF.

He can shoot and is a solid rebounder and another big body that can bang in the paint.

Yeah from what I remember of Vonleh from his days in Manhattan he wasn't a wing defender. He can help on the glass and he's a big guy, and we are so desperate at this point he will help for now

Re: Shams: Nets sign Noah Vonleh
Sean Marks is still D.R.E.
Chiozza, TLC, Shump and Vonleh on non guaranteed deals that could be kept or waived by Feb 24th.
I think he’s buying time to line up a couple real buyout candidates by March. I think he will try to land Drummond or McGee with 2nd rounders.

Vonleh is a tough guy. you need a dark alley guy. GSW had draymond and iggy. we have brown who is like a white collar alley guy. plays good hard D but doesnt get in your face. i think vonleh will.
he also is really athletic. puts people on a poster. we could use more of that also

I still I am surprised we didn't pick up RHJ.....Is the thought with Vonleh to reduce KD's minutes or to be an insurance piece in case DJ needs time off for an injury?
Supposedly we have until Feb 24 to decide on Vonleh, Shump and Pelle......will see

I think its to play Center. i dont think they want a KD backup, i think their KD backup is going smaller. not that i agree, but i think thats their view
