Big three in Atlanta

Post#1 » by myrak433 » Tue Feb 9, 2021 2:56 am

With the trade deadline about a month and a half away, could the Hawks add another star player to Trae and Capela? That’s right I said Capela!

Which star player could they get?
What would the Hawks have to give up?

I like Lavine. Trae, Dunn, Lavine, Hunter, and Capela starting 5 or Trae, Lavine, Hunter, Collins, Capela.

I would say everyone could be available except Trae, Hunter, and Capela. To be clear I am not saying all of the Hawks young talent but two or three of them in some combination

Get Trae some HELP!!!!

We really counting Trae, Lavine and Capela as a 'Big Three'? With a whopping 1 All Star Appearance and 0 All NBA selections between the three of them?

We gotta aim higher than that. I'd set my gaze on...Karl Anthony Towns. A lineup with KAT, Capela and DeAndre Hunter would be the best frontcourt in the NBA. The unique combination of shooting, passing, rebounding and defense would force every other team to adjust to our inside/out game.

The issue: It would cost us at least John Collins, Kevin Huerter, Cam Reddish and Okongwu. That'd be a hard pill to swallow.

Did you just redefine what a Big Three is? This just isn't it.

No KAT or LaVine for me. They couldn’t even do it together as teammates while back. I’d still prefer to wait for the next disgruntled star.

“We like our core”...

If you trade Okongwu in a package for KAT I won’t forgive us. One is going to impact winning soon while the other will get better stats but mainly empty stats resulting in a LOSS for the team.

Whose the next star?
