Kyrie had that disinterested look in his eyes at the end of the game too. I'm sure it's fine...

Watching the Hornets and Terry Rozier tonight and wishing that Danny had the balls to trade Kyrie and keep Rozier when it was obvious Kyrie had given up on the team. Rozier would be the perfect fit on this team right now.

I feel so sick, sick , sick. Watching Boston all year and see so many what the F is Stevens doing playing Whomever (fill in blanks) shooting bricks etc.. and then watching Desmond Bane starting now and currently beating Toronto and shooting well, makes me so sick.

Then I check to see what he has been shooting like this season??

How about 48.5 and 48.5 from 2 and 3s +80% Ft

But Ainge was quoted as saying, he didn't want any more rookies because he "liked what he had"

Or in other words Ainge and Stevens (it is a tag team) couldn't recognize or evaluate the Talent edge of Bane > Edwards/Waters/JGreen even though they actually drafted Bane.

Not to mention how a talent like Bane could have been as an asset in a trade for a Bigger fish.

Rozier is hands down better than Kemba in both sides right now. Not to mention his no fear attitude, while Kemba is a midget, both physically and now mentally. We can’t win with someone like that, even if he’s 3rd banana on the team. We want guys that is mentally tough. Same issue with Theis. He was shook in that Heat series. Pump faking several times under the basket, and against Butler or Herro  He is playing decent now, same as last year, but come playoffs? Lol At least TT won’t get scared. the problem is, Theis is probably better offensively. So we are in a mess. Playing those two together is the worst. We still need an upgrade at the 5.

I watched this game as well. I was left thinking Bane reminded me of Grant Williams with worse defense. You might like him here, but Stevens would play Nesmith over him imo. Maybe that's the silverlining?

Desmond Bane is a JAG shooting guard. Xavier Tillman is another story. Theo Maledon is another story. How they couldn't fit one of these players on the roster over Javonte Green? Even Tyler Bey would be interesting. Not sure I get it. Just to save some money on Kanter (and then to blow it on Thompson?)

At least they got Madar. And they got two future seconds out of it, so really if you're so upset as to be sick about turning a 30th pick in 2020 into a couple seconds in the 35-45 range in 2023+25, you should reconsider life.

Brooklyn about to lose to the Pistons.

Really a big mistake to sacrifice defense and bench depth for James Harden.

Right now the Nets are so horrible on defense and they're very soft inside the paint.

Derrick Rose already making an impact for the Knicks.

Rose has 12 points, coming off the bench, in 13 minutes.

If the Nets lose, that's on Stevens. How can he not get his guys to buy in?

depending on who you ask, some consider Grant Williams a very good defender. :D

I will admit to not watching a ton of Memphis games, but when I do, I see a reasonable defender. but regardless I look at how a player would fit with us. I see Bane as a player, who can play make a little. doesn't overdribble, and in this small, but getting bigger every day sample size, knocks down open looks. THAT ALONE is a skill we desperately need. the Js need that, in a teammate, more than anything going forward. shooting close to 50% from 3 is even more impressive when considering who he has to play with on Memphis. I venture to guess Bane would have more open looks playing with us.

Gordon Hayward's agent working double time getting him more exposure, possibly for that All-Star slot. He just guested on Woj's podcast (not much new to learn that we didn't already know but still a good listen) and Stein just came out with an article about him, Melo, and the Hornets.

CHA is 6th in East right now, just a game behind BOS. Hayward putting up career highs in ppg, rpg, TS%, etc.

Rozier 24 in the first half. My god I love watching how confident he’s become with his shot.

Bucks lost to the Suns. Now 16-9. As crappy as we've played, we're just two losses off the 2nd spot. I care less about our record though than getting healthy, improving our roster, setting our rotation, and playing way better than we have so far.
