He'd be competing for ROY if he'd be a starter on our roster.

He is one of the main reasons why our bench squad looked stable against the Clippers(less Teague). He'll be a handfull for the opponents in the postseason if he continues like this and can stay healthy.

Ainge finally hit on a late 1st rounder who can contribute immediately.

This guy will help us free 1 max contract very soon. I'm saying that considering that Kemba is a sort of nice team person but the more I see PP play the lower I feel are Kemba's chances to stay here long.

With all due respect to Jeff Teague, Pritchard should be our backup point guard right now.

And Rondo or Lonzo would be great with this roster. The need a true point guard, not a shooting guard with point guard aspirations.

he should be our starter

Pritchard
Nesmith
Brown
Tatum
Theis

that should be our lineup. It would give us our best bench unit as well where Smart protects Kemba and both run PnR with TimeLord. Nesmith should be getting valuable playing time with better players. He should be the one standing in the corner shooting open threes instead of Williams and Semi. This would be the best shooting starting five in the entire league with length and defense too. It should be imperative to get Pritchard and Nesmith ready so going forward they've ironed out the kinks and gives us arguably the best young core in the league.

Pritchard is already an outstanding 3-pt shooter.

Overall, I'm tempted to value him ahead of either Herro or Robinson, with his general PG skill package and surprising defensive grit outweighing the other guys' size and Herro's surprising grit on the boards.

He's def better than Herro. Robinson has taken a step back too, but I'd give him the edge for now even though they are wildly different players and there is no reason to compare them at all.

Now can you imagine feeling AS GOOD about Boston drafting Nesmith as we do with PP.

Maybe one day..

I also can't wait for the Day PP goes into Full aggressive mode. Right now he is still playing the rookie mode a bit.

by year 3 WOW :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

For a guy his size, he has been consistently getting rebounds.

Pritchard's teammates need to watch his game tapes on how he relocates and gets himself open for the pass. Whether it's in the half court or in transition, his instinct is to go to a spot where the ball will find him and the defense would have to scramble to get to him. He's able to get off his shots even when plays aren't called for him.

I loved his defense tonight (and kinda all year). He just gets in there and pesters and his rotations are pretty spot on, with only the occassional rookie lapse. He'll box out whoever he's near, regardless of size. Just gets in there and gets after it.

I think we're quickly going to get to the point where defenses are coached to not forget about the Pritchard threat.

We're also likely to start seeing trade packages spitballed in which Pritchard is viewed as a significant asset.

Oh I'm sure next year the board will want to trade him for some trash big like they always do. Who is the Drummond/Steven Adams/Al Horford of next year?

Read on Twitter

We have 7 rotation guys shooting at least 38% from 3. :o Six, if we don't count Teague (we shouldn't).

I was wrong about this kid. Especially his shooting. I am pretty sure he's not a true-talent 47% shooter from deep, but it is clear he is a lot closer to a deadeye shooter than we expected. The 92% FT% helps validate that given 3PT% can vary a bit.

Would love to see him find more ways to get in the paint and draw contact, but honestly could not ask for more out of a 26th pick.
