Re: WWE Raw Discussion III
The acting has been god awful even for WWE standards.
Lashley pretending to step on Riddle's foot and then Riddle rolling around like he was hit by a truck although not being hit at all deserves the Golden Raspberry Award.

Edge is so damn good. The cadence in his voice, his timing, his body language — he nails his promos.

Re: WWE Raw Discussion III
Just caught the end of that women's tag match. My word, that was awful. You would think this was their first time in a ring. Dana Brooke was trying to hit Charlotte with chops in the corner and it looked so fake and bad. They weren't even trying to lay anything in. For all the crap the AEW women's division gets, at least they have the excuse of being new to the business (a lot of them, anyway).

Re: WWE Raw Discussion III
The booking of Edge is fascinating to me...
This guy comes back from a career ending neck injury a decade later and his first match back is a 36 minute
last man standing match at WM where it was mostly hardcore wrestling. Then he gets put in a match promoted as
"The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" where he's burden with astronomical unrealistic expectations and gets a serious
injury after wrestling 44 minutes.
He comes back several months later and they have him in the Royal Rumble and win from the #1 spot wrestling over
an hour his first match back. Does he get any rest for his broken down 47 year old body after that performance? no
he's wrestling 24 hours later the next night on RAW in another long grueling match with Orton.
I mean WTF? lol
If a guy comes back after a decade in his late 40's who has a history of injuries and signs a 2-3 year deal shouldn't
you be protecting him to make sure that asset is protected at all costs? Is Vince trying to purposely cripple him?
What's next are we gonna put him in the Elimination Chamber next somehow? I wouldn't be surprised if he gets
injured before Wrestlemania again with how they keep on booking him in these long grueling matches where his
body isn't ready for it yet.

Yeah I get that he makes the next generation look stronger and somehow pushes them with some rubs here and there in small segments like with Bronson Reed and Shinsuke, but damn those matches were brutal
The promos though, phew. That's what has been missing from previous Rumble winners. A legitimate psychological tension brought to all champions. Having Edge on TV made the shows more compelling, with open ended possibilities (love AEW but please something like this for Sting)

Yeah, it's for the promos for Edge. And at least he doesn't look like an old fossil - like Goldberg does.

You could look at it like this: Edge spent 9 years not taking bumps and came back in the best shape of his life. He's ripped and his cardio is tremendous. He works long matches because he can and he's good at them. I know it's important to protect wrestlers from themselves, but I also think that Edge is mature and responsible enough to know his limits.

Having an elimination match with Sheamus, Orton, Jeff Hardy, AJ and Miz is telling all you need to know about the state of this company.

He comes back and it feels like he is one of the best in the company. Nod to him or admonishment of the rest of the roster (either works), but he is legitimate top performer.

I was blown away by his promo last night. I was expecting him to flub up at some point but he nailed that ****.

Happy Miz is champion again. He's really had a 1st ballot HOF career. But, the plans gotta be Lashley def Miz (c) at Fastlane. Then Drew def Lashley (c) at Mania, right? Gives Drew his title win in front of a live crowd. I'm down for Lashley (c) vs McIntyre but I'd love to see Brock get involved in that.

That's how you make a star.
Now do it with every wrestler you've got.

I´m sure Lashley vs McIntyre is WM bound but what´s the deal with Drew and Sheamus feud. These guys have to run a programm together.

Also, Charlotte's attitude is getting annoying.

Exactly! And it's more apparent right now. Is she getting skinny as well? Her no to little selling was a bit forgiveable before being bigger than most opponents, height and built wise. Now she's just, well, taller

Re: WWE Raw Discussion III
Apparently, Lacey Evans really is pregnant and will be off WWE TV for at least several months, so where does that leave the storyline between Flair and Flair? Is it over? I still think Charlotte is the face of the women's division and their #1 asset.
