Kings up 5 vs the 76ers
dude is a winning player. for all of you who want to make the playoffs, had we drafted Haliburton that could've been a strong possibility
Obit might turn out "ok" but Knicks are talent bereft. Every time they take the lesser player it's that much longer until they are good.
Blew it with Frank - couple of better players after - scouting or FO fail
Blew it with Knox - again, couple of player better went after - scouting or FO fail
Blew it with Obi - another scouting or FO fail.
I mean, even getting one of those right and Knicks are better team and closer to competing.
that's why we should load up on as many picks as possible. more picks=more chances at success
Hopefully this isn't a "Oh, we traded the 40th pick and DSJr for Rose" thing.
I agree, but that trade was good. In a vacuum and for the Knicks now, in reality.
But hopefully, the Knicks will be sellers, and I don't care if it's ALL 2nd rounders, but might be able to squeeze a 1st rounder out of this group, certainly 2nd rounders:
Payton/Burks/Bullock/Noel/Rivers/Frank and Randle.
With Randle being the most likely to land a 1st, followed by Burks and Bullocks, though I'd think either of those guys means a STRONG playoff team (pick from 28-30) with probably an injury...for a #1 to happen for them. But Randle is worth a first to someone.
I see 7 chances at more picks
