In any sort of significant amount though? Suggs and Mobley are getting a ton of hype as well. Once Green and Kuminga start playing and putting highlights up, those guys will probably work their way into the conversation as well.

If those guys are as good as advertised, this is legitimately one of the most wide open drafts we've had in some time. Five guys at the top that many would put in the same tier, but are actually all high end prospects, unlike other wide open drafts like the one we just had, or the Bennett draft.

Yeah, plenty of draftniks are doubling down on their “this is the Cade draft” takes. I agree that #1 is wide open (or should be). Inclusive of Cade who I like a lot and really want to love.

He looks good on both ends of the floor. Noticeably impacts the game on both ends. Only knock is his shooting range. 25% from the college arc. Can he improve on that? FT Percentage is close to 70%. Playmaking/passing and defensive awareness are high end, as is his rebounding ability from the guard position. Can he replace Coby at the point?

If we end up trading Lavine, 7-14 range with our pick James Bouknight (out for the season) is player very similar to Lavine in Ucla.

Chances of that kind of growth are unlikely. LaVine basically defied everyone’s expectations.

Tomorrow is the first game for G League Ignite. I'm interested in seeing what type of program the NBA is running for college prospects.

If we went by my picks from previous years (according to our draft position), the team would look like:
PG - Tyrese Haliburton
SG - Zach LaVine
SF - Mikal Bridges
PF - Brandon Clarke (I'm not impressed with his rebounding. That's the one thing I'm seeing that doesn't look hot).
C - Don't know (Maybe Bam Adebayo)

- Looks like I messed up on Jarrett Culver. He looks like a bust right now. He's out with an injury currently. He's still very young though. Once again, time will tell how Culver develops.
- Lauri Markkanen was NOT on my list for 2017 draft. I did not do pre-draft scouting heavily that year. I was just interested in Bam because his name reminded me of "Bam Bam Bigelow."
- I was high on Josh Jackson for 2017 draft, but when we got closer to the draft, he fell off my list for some reason. I don't know why. I can't explain that.

For this year's draft, my preliminary current top 3:
3. Evan Mobley
2. Cade Cunningham

1. Jalen Suggs

Obviously, this will change. Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga can easily get in. Or anyone else for that matter.

I can't take the RealGM Chicago Bulls collective beehive seriously with classic hits such as:
- Spencer Hawes (awful pick)
- Harry Giles (awful)
- Michael Porter Jr (meh)
- Darius Garland (meh)
- Deni/Obi Toppin (meh)

I remember the RealGM Bulls board got Andre Iguodala over Ben Gordon. Yep, that's the correct pick. That was the only time when the collective whole got it right.

Anyone with any knowledge about Daishen Nix?

I'm reading he's a pass first guard, is this true?

Pass first guard with really good vision. Good size, though I think he needs to get in better shape. Crafty finisher but a not so great shot.

It's only been a few minutes, but Kuminga pops to me.

Kuminga looks like a top prospect if he can shoot it at all.

Jalen Green does not look like a top prospect. Daishen Nix has been in for 30 seconds and already had more nice plays than Green. Nix is not in NBA shape though.

I have read before that scouts have concerns about Nix conditioning.

Kuminga looks like the real deal. Too bad we're probably gonna be in that #7 overall sweetspot again.

Seems to me there's going to be a big 4.

Cade
Suggs
Mobley
Kuminga

Then that 2nd tier is pretty nebulous.

Green played much better in the 2nd half. Some good passes out of the PnR, good drives to the basket, a 3 and a great finish in transition.
