Giannis will not be a top 10-15 player in his late 30s. You can take that to the bank.
You might end up being right, but i'm not going to put Giannis in a box. His doubters, and haters are starting to say he's already peaked. I disagree with that. Just because his numbers might be a little down, or he's struggling in a certain area doesn't mean he's done ascending.
I'm sure you can take any player in the NBA, or any sport's history, and take a snapshot of a down year(s) and find that they still ascended again after that decline. It's only natural with all the changes this year (pandemic) no fans etc..., and the crazy ascent he's been on since he 's gotten in the league that he's going to have some kind of decline at some point, but it doesn't preclude him from regrouping and ascending again.
Giannis will be a better shooter than he is now in every way as he matures (and you can take that to the bank!) Most of his problems are mental and he'll figure it out. He just turned 26. Lebron didn't have everything figured out. mj didn't have one championship.
Yup. He has a massive amount of learning to do, and based on how ridiculously committed and hardworking he is, he will untap a lot of his "potential".
Like... Lebron is arguably at his peak at the age of 36, when he is much less athletic than he was from 19-28.
