Do you remember when Steve Nash was the worst defender in the league? D don't matter when you're scoring 20+ and dishing out 10+ assists.

But Trae isn't winning big or anything, never has and doesn't look like he's on the verge of that either. At least until this year, a guy like Luka has won.

He's been in the league two years. Nash hadn't even broken out yet. You guys are just biased haters and it's clouding your judgement. Young is going to be around and he's going to be good for a loooong time.

It's like how good of a defender do you expect a guy his size to be? I can remember off the top of my head one player in the years I've been watching the game who could make a difference on that side of the ball who was a smaller player. I'll give anyone a $1 if they can guess.

CP3 was another. I was thinking of Lindsey Hunter. It's hard to be a good defender when you're physically outmatched like that. Lindsey Hunter was the best on ball defender I've ever seen for a guy 6'2 and under.

I think Trae has some major attributes but I’m not impressed with anyone that much till they win and then win in the playoffs.

They're using Lavine as a decoy now, it's not fun. I hate it when it happens. I just want to see madness tbh

They used to move Parker off the ball all of the time and would put Bowen on the lead guard sometimes.

Yes. The Knicks aren’t going anywhere. All season this team has shown it can compete with anyone. Sometimes it doesn’t have enough to close games out but we’re competing at a good enough clip to get in as a lower seed

that's optimistic. it's still more likely we miss the playoffs than not. according to 538, 27% chance, 23.6% by TeamRankings

they're projections. sure, but it's still based on data (including our performance thus far as well as that of our competition)

we're 11-15, way too early to say for sure that this is a playoff team

It's crazy how teams hunt mismatches nowadays way more than they used to in the 90s and early 2000s. Teams would just run their sets but rarely would they just target guys on defense. I think offenses and defenses have gotten much smarter in the last 20 years.

I think he's the best guard they have for Zion. Neither Bledsoe nor Lonzo is a good fit for Zion. Kira is more more of an unknown but he has a higher upside than both as a PNR partner for Zion.

really disappointing that the Hawks blew it b/c the Grizzlies won and the Thunder are even up on the Lakers by 20. a Mavs loss would've been big

The little guys are always outmatched. Bogues had a nice low center of gravity so if they tried to take advantage of him with a bigger player he could always hold his ground.

Elfrid is a good defender at the 1.. would anyone here take Payton over Young? With a gun to their head or in anonymity you know they wouldn't.
