Anyone feel safe with this lead with Trachsel on the mound? Didn't think so.

By the way, was there any explanation for Trachsel going on short rest? Or did Lou just decide to use his worst pitcher more often for fun?

Trachsel will be fine if he keeps the pitches down. Its when he elevates them up a little that he gets crushed.

They said he only threw 40 pitches on Sunday and that it sets up the rotation vs the Cards.
