I mean we've been trying for awhile now and dudes that can't figure it out are getting sent away left and right. Bye Henson, Thon, Wood, Robin, DJW soon... it must be more complex than we think like playing center in the NFL... I don't honestly know except that we keep trying dudes and they get banished to the deepest corners of the bench. So this idea that any long athlete can do it is invalid.

Robin and Wood definitely would've worked and have proven so since departing. Henson, Thon and DJW aren't NBA players.

It's hard to have an opinion on Wood's defense since he hasn't ever played it yet unless being 2 steps slow in every rotation is defense now but I guess adding "definitely" makes the next words true?

I hope so. Are the Bucks going to be hard-capped again next year? I don't fully understand those rules. Getting Portis at the tax MLE should be a no-brainer if possible. I'd like Forbes to opt in, but he won't if he keeps shooting like this.

If Jrue extends this month or next, does that mean he's under contract next year for $27m and the extension starts in 2022? I'm not clear on whether he can actually decline that option year before the season is over or if an extension implies he's opting in for next year and then adding 4 years to that. On the one hand, it would be nice if a max extension starts one year later to avoid cap hell next season, but on the other hand that would mean they're paying him a huge salary until he's nearly 36.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

2 steps slow in every rotation would still put him ahead of Lopez.

Hard cap's triggered by:

* receiving a player in a sign and trade
* using the BAE
* using more than the taxpayer MLE
* re-signing a player using the Arenas provision

Bucks made it into the Friday NYT crossword. Not the best clue, but it’s the thought that counts.

Seems like a strange move unless there is an injury problem we don't know about. I just don't see why you would send him to the bubble and then make him come back to only play garbage time when you have DJW and Thanasis warming the bench already.

Maybe a combo of realizing how many games Jrue will be out and the lack of production in the dudes swallowing some of those minutes.

Yeah, I figured he'd at least play out the bubble tournament since it's not that long and he can get some run, but I think you're right about maybe an injury concern happened. It's gotta be a pain in the ass to get in and out of quarantine. I'm guessing he can't join the team in Salt Lake where he was sent because he's in Florida or was. lol

That was fast. Figured they'd just let both get a bunch of time in during that short season.

Trade in the works?

If they send out 2 for one, like the DJ's + pick(s) for Bjelica or Bamba, they need another player for the bench since Jrue is out.

Bamba actually makes sense for both teams currently, Magic are incredibly banged up and could use the addition of both players.
The Magic's starting line up tonight will probably be

F James Ennis III
F Gary Clark
C Nikola Vucevic
G Dwayne Bacon
G Michael Carter-Williams

Al-Farouq Aminu (right knee injury maintenance), Cole Anthony (right shoulder strain) and Evan Fournier (low back spasms) are questionable. Markelle Fultz (ACL), Aaron Gordon (left ankle sprain), Jonathan Isaac (left knee injury recovery), Karim Mane (two-way) and Frank Mason (right groin strain) are out.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

I think the Bucks should go after JJ Watt.

Weird recalling him so soon. Yeah Jrue is out but we have no upcoming back to backs.

I wonder how long until Nwora is cleared, he has to clear protocols to rejoin the team.

Actually zero since he won't be flying to rejoin the team

He is coming from Orlando, isn't he?
