Questions to Lakers regulars
Here are two questions because i watched some Lakers lately and these decisions puzzled me honestly:
1. Why is LeBron taking technical free throws in close games?
2. Why is LeBron not in the box on free throws but rather has guards box out and rebound? Quite unconventional isnt it?
Who can explain?

I saw it in one of the games where Davis was out, but without looking at their stats i'm pretty sure bron wasnt the best FT shooter on the floor adn they needed the point

The Lakers, overall are not a good FT shooting team outside of KCP and Schroder. It can happen sometimes but this is rare that LBJ take the technical.

1. AD and KCP take them, LBJ sometimes takes it if AD isn't on the floor and it's early in the game to help get his rhythm going.
2. Conserving energy

What makes you think so? I believe you would not ask that same question to the guys who flood the GB with "LEBRON THE CLEAR CUT GOAT" every other day, would you?
Why are you so triggered by simple, basketball related questions regarding the lakers (not LeBron)?

Both of the questions you asked were about LeBron

Actually i'll assume the coaching staff determines both who takes technical free throws, and who goes in for the rebound on freethrows. That'd be the normal thing because its part of game planning. For example in Utah sometimes Ricky Rubio went in for the rebound with the idea of a good outlet on make or miss.

Moved to Laker's board...where "Laker regulars" are likely to be.

1. That was just probably lebron being lebron... he called it and no one told him no.
2. It depends on who the guards are... If it's Caruso or THT, those guys are both pretty big and strong and often box out much bigger players... So it takes that burden off LeBron, who isn't really working that hard inside right now anyway... I'm not sure the last time I saw a solid box out from him in any situation, not just free-throws.

This guy's one of those trolls who don't watch any basketball, but hate watch Lebron's interviews and stats, cos their insecure hero's legacy just getting crushed.
