What “underlying conditions” do you have Karl?

Hmmm

The condition of not wanting to play basketball unless you’re team is perfect and always winning?

The condition of needing to be babied and coddled even though you’re a full grown adult?

The condition of not being able to see past your own misfortune and realize you’re not alone?

I’m sorry for your loss, but, I don’t feel sorry for you KAT, I’ve had family and friends pass before their time too. It happens, it’s sad, and we continue on and be the best we can be. Because, that is how we honor those that have past. We don’t wallow is self pity, it doesn’t help anybody and it disrespects the people we mourn.

Probably saw medical clearance on the COVID saw that he was meant to be at shootaround and said he will be back in the building. Which is true. Shams didn't lie.

Although whoever is questioning Karl's medical history is terrible. That **** is private.

People handle grief differently and need different processes to handle that grief.

Shams goes out and does his job and KAT responds childishly. There’s has been no word on what’s been keeping him out so long. He’s been traveling with the team. But as soon as a reporter does their job and reports on something he most likely got from a team source, KAT all of a sudden has something to say???

Please.

Bad fans are the one who keep enabling this childish behavior.
Quoting Chappel? He would say the same thing. Shut up KAT. You had nothing to say for weeks. Why talk now?

Ok boomer.

Probably because it was a piece of news concerning him and it wasn't 100% accurate.

Question his medical history?
Nobody is asking him to release personal medical details.

But his reaction to Shams was both childish and uncalled for.

He could have easily said something in the entire month he was out. Give an update that he’s dealing with “some things medically” and they he “looking forward to getting back on the court”.

He did none of this. But, then chose to be immature to a reporter just doing his job. And... Now he suddenly has an update on why he’s been out so long.

Dude could have just as easily been polite to shams, while at the same time educating him on what was really going on.

The fact you think it’s Boomerism to strive for politeness is telling.

It was kinda snarky on KAT's behalf ... he woulda been better off saying nothing just as he had been. I hate media but this guy did nothing wrong. Heck, he coulda been playing pickle ball 3 times a week at the Y for all anyone knew ... :dontknow:

The same poster who ignored KAT coming back and playing weeks early from a wrist injury because his team was losing and knew they needed him, decided to insult him, KAT comes back and plays anyway, same poster comes back just to have a temper tantrum about politeness and boomerism

I don't get why you would care to respond to tweets as a player. Let these media guys type whatever they want about you. It is not relevant anyway.

How long have we built around this guy?

How much success?

Is it working?

How long have we built AROUND this guy? One season and half. The previous FO built around Jimmy.

How much success?
We are -1.4 per 100 with him on the court, -11.2 per 100 this year
Last season was -2.2 with him, -6.2 without him.

Is it working?
No. The roster around him is young and does not contribute to winning right now.

I listened to Doogie’s podcast from yesterday, and he said something that shocked me.

He thought Anthony Edwards had more trade value than Towns.

He’s plugged into actual front offices, but I still disagree. What do the rest of you think?

I wouldn't be shocked. Wings have more value than bigs, plus don't forget the potential 9 years of team control versus only 4 years.
