To NOLA...Vuc, Evan, Aminu
From NOLA...Adams, Lonzo, Naw, Reddick
Ball was going to be Jason Kidd 2.0. Allegedly, NOLA doesn't play at the pace that suits his generational court vision. Vuc would be great with his floor spreading and defensive rebounding next to Zion and Ingram. Fournier adds shooting and size at SG. ORL gets their new backcourt (along with Fultz and Cole), hopefully, can sign Ball to a reasonable deal AND get the star he was supposed to be in a high-speed offense with Fultz. Trading Vuc would MAKE us re-do our offensive game plan. Reddick could probably be moved to BRK or PHI for Shamet or Paul Reed or 2rp or something (assuming he doesn't want to stay) with Dinwiddie's deal as the ballast (or TPE?). NAW is our great hope for an expanded role. Adams is a placeholder and culture guy without real bball skills but would set monster picks for all of our lightning fast wings and maybe get through to Bamba on the subtleties of hoops and life.
* Obviously, our high frp would be plugged in too. Possibly AG gets us another and maybe a prospect. I like AG into BOS TPE for Nesmith and a (late first) pick. BOS would probably want us to take back expiring salary to minimize their tax hit.
Adams/Bamba/Birch
Isaac/Okeke
Nesmith/TRoss
Fultz/NAW/Shamet
Ball/Anthony/MCW
Adams is really the mismatched piece, in terms of pacing and spacing, but he's only one more year and could probably be shipped out as an expiring at some point if we had a better long-term option. Certainly a different look.
Come on
Fultz at SG?
A backcourt ball +kelle?
I think Skybox is a great poster but i always frown when i read his trade ideasI have totally different vision of our teams future moves.
that's surprising to me, you're one of the few I tend to agree with. Screw this one- I really don't want to move Vuc, so I was reaching. Honestly, if Ball settled in, I'd move Fultz...I could see Fultz developing into a young DeRozan-able to penetrate at will, score inside and at the midrange, and pass very effectively. I've always felt IF Fultz developed a killer Alpha instinct, he'd be great today...IF his shot came back to league average or slightly above, he'd be an All-Star...but even my endless optimism is about done.
No more Vucevic trades from me, unless there are BIG returns. Ironically, I wouldn't want to include him in a veteran star package (like Beal) because the star will be instantly frustrated at the lack of help. Vuc + Beal (or +Hayward, or +CJ, or +similar) would be great.
What don't you like about my usual trades? My guess is I don't do the usual ridiculous "Fournier for an All-Star" type BS so prevalent with RealGM homers.

Does he even play? Why would he sign with ORL "on the cheap", for that, he could jump to a contender.
