Yea, I know I was the brother preaching patience. This is getting out of hand. I hate to say it but Lloyd isn’t head coach material. He needs to be more hands on with the players as an assistant coach, I know it’s bs but he needs to be held accountable as well for CRAP coaching performances left n right.
Bring Kenny Atkinson home! Please.

It's Atkinson or just keep LP at this point. The former had a raw deal in BK dealing with guys like Kyrie.

Re: Coaches I want
Mike D’Antoni would supercharge this team’s offense.

I was actually going to add him on the list. He’s had Nash before and I hate to say it again but Trae is closest to Ivernash ok Traesiah ok... Traeden (Harden..) whatever he is, D’antonio can handle a superstar like Trae, the only reason I didn’t put him on the list is that he hasn’t taken either Nash or Harden to the finals, but there no guarantee anyone on my list would even get to a conference finals.
Ya. D’antoni is a solid hire.
I was also gonna put Udoka from the Spurs but again the ceiling.
Becky Hammon though, something in her eyes tells me she’s crazy hungry. I think she would relate well to the players and they would respect her.
Mark Jackson, I know everyone’s against me but he built the Warriors in 2010-2013 or whatever that time frame. Kerr came into something. He puts some crazy sense of togetherness and relates to players, he will get them to play some real defense.

Re: Coaches I want
Serious question.
Is there a way we can demote Lloyd and keep things cool? He’s such an awesome dude and such a great guy in the community as we all know. He just can’t take us any further imo. I hope I’m wrong and I eat crow and we win 10 in a row but they tuned him out.

Re: Coaches I want
The team just needs a coach that can implement a better defensive scheme. Even with Trae not playing they are still pretty bad defensively. Yeah yeah they are better statistically now but the comp has been fairly manageable.

He's not the best, sure, but what is sad for him is that with a full roster (or almost full) since the beginning of the season, he would certainly be around 15-10

I wouldn’t bet on that. I don’t think it’s a matter of having a full roster. Other teams have had injuries as well as load management. It’s a matter of having a game plan that works in the NBA. Lloyd has a hard time drawing up a game plan that is successful. He is in trouble. Our players are young but they need a new direction, voice.
I’d rather get rid of the coach that start reconstructing the roster by any means.
Our roster>>>>> Lloyd Pierce
We can’t let Schlenk’s GM skills go to waste here. It’s making him look bad when it’s not his fault.

Re: Coaches I want
Lloyd is lost. I think too many people falsely praised him into a position where he is today and he has hit his ceiling.
Simply put, dude can’t coach. He’s being crazy exposed right now and it’s hard to watch.
I don’t want to mix my feelings of what I think of Lloyd as a person vs a coach. If he doesn’t get canned soon and we continue to slide I’m gonna start hating his face.

Re: Coaches I want
After all, we are only 2 games behind BOS and the 5th spot, but we're talking like we were 6 or 7 games behind.
And 1 game behind the 7th spot.
If I'm not wrong, nearly everybody, media and fans, were only seeing a 7 or 8th spot at the end of the season.
The SAS game was a nightmare and has nothing to do with the real level of this team. The real problem is the 6 or 7 games we lost after leading in the 4th. With half of that won, were are at 14-12 and 4th, maybe more if it's against BKN (two games lost by almost nothing).
The players has to think about that and don't loose suddenly faith in Pierce, even if he's not the best.
Unless they are all seeing a huge problem and talked about that with him and don't see any change. The main one is saw all these last games is that Vs BKN and Vs IND, ATL was really dominating with Capela, but we play the last minutes without him. Instead of trying to push the lead to 10pts with Capela and benching him until the end of the game, maybe benching him with 5-6pts lead and making playing again later would have been enough.
Or maybe not trading Dedmon for Snell would have been enough and a better combo with John that Gallo in some matchups.
If that's the case, Schlenk is also at fault.
Now, I agree that if Pierce doesn't change anything, like finding a way to play Capela in the last minutes of the next 5 games, and they are lost by a few points, he should be fired, but not sure replacing him now would improve the team.
And I'm sorry, but if McMillan is on the bench and don't see this stupid choice too, he doesn't have to be his replacement. I hope he's not letting him make bad choices to take his place.

Re: Coaches I want
Man, I'm happy that Chris Finch finally got a gig as HC. But I really liked him as a candidate for our position should we make a change this summer.
This one hurts a bit because I did consider him one of the front runners for a better HC position very soon.

If he’s available and wanting a return, Sam Mitchell has always been a fav of mine as well.
