Think that might help the Js a bit?? :o :( :-?

Last 10 games:
Theis - 52.7% FG%, 51.9% 3FG%
Grant - 55.3% FG% 52% 3FG%

But Celtics fans already hate these two guys. So I bet they'll find a way to hate Strus too if he's in Boston.

Apples to Oranges.

Strus > Green,Waters/Edwards/Teague easy for me.

Green is shooting 50% from FG% and 66% from 3 last 10 games. We don't move the ball. Our role players don't even shoot enough to merit the wrath they get from fans.

Well Green is attempting quite a bit less. but I am definitely not going to argue with you on ball movement. Did mention that problem under my hate Stevens wrath.

One reason why I still have some hope. especially IF Boston can add another piece at the right price of course.

Tatum, Brown, Smart, RW, Theis, PP give me hope. Another good player, then why not us???

To continue this thought. Tatum + Brown give me hope that their potential greatness can lead us to a title appearance at least. And yet all the other issues may lead us to an earlier than desired exit.

I wouldn't be surprised at a title RD or a first RD exit. I can't remember the last time our Ceiling potential and our floor was so far apart.

We can keep saying "oh, I wish we had this random guy and that" but unless we change the way we play, I don't think the Struses and Tuckers of the world will make a bit of difference.

Max Strus will just stand in the corner, even get himself open but will rarely get the pass or because the team as whole doesn't make quick decisions with the ball, the defense will close out on him by the time the ball gets to him.

Overall agree. but it would still be nice to have a player that, in my judgement, are better shooters regardless of shooting pct.

But since we both agree on lack of ball movement. is it on the players more or the coaches? can it be fixed or or we fooling ourselves?

Max Strus has scored 98 total points this year. 26 more than Javonte Green, and 9 less than Robert Williams. He is tied for 12th on his own team in total FGA.

His highest scoring game this year is 3pts less than Semi Ojeleye's highest scoring game.
His 2nd highest scoring game this year is 1pt higher than Semi Ojeleye's highest scoring game.
His third and 4th highest scoring games this year are equal to Semi Ojeleye's 3rd and 4th highest scoring games this year.

I'm not saying he's not a better shooter than Semi Ojeleye, but this class of contribution is not something that's altering our trajectory this year. We've got bigger fish to fry.

Not really fair since he started playing recently. But Yes we have bigger fish to fry. But we don't even know if we will get "any to fry".

We have a better shooter in theory riding the bench. Some guy named Aaron Nesmith. We already have 7 rotation guys who shoot 39%+ from three. Kemba and Smart are better than their current shooting %.

Cs are 6th in 3-pt shooting %. Problem is, we don't shoot the 3-ball nearly enough. The Jays seem to prefer the midrange. Our shot selection is whack for whatever reason. As much as we dump on Kemba, I like it when he pulls up from three. His shot will fall eventually. Overhauling an offense might require a full offseason and training camp. It's more on the coaches imo. But I'm not blind to the fact that this team lacks players who naturally know how to pass and when to cut and how to read-and-react against a defense on the fly. So I don't know how you fix that.

EDIT: Our defense shouldn't get a pass too btw. It's still early and I think it's more fixable than our offense. Not too worried about our defense esp once we get the normal rotation healthy.

Good job, good effort by him. He was only four years late.

Insane that would feel the need to flop against Dillon Brooks, one of the worst players in the NBA lmao
