Cubs lose 9-4.

Positives:

Didn't give up after being down 6-0. Liked to see that we had what it took to come back against a solid Brewers team.

Lee and Ramirez are locked in right now. Hopefully that continues in the cold weather this next week.

Negatives:

Wade Miller. Cut him, trade him for some scrub minor leaguer(s); just do something to keep him away from this team. Pathetic outing by him today.

Scott Eyre. See above. We have two lefties in the pen in Ohman and Cotts and I think that they are more than formidable that we don't need fatty pissing away games in the 8th inning.

DeRosa and Cedeno. Both had big outs in big situations today. DeRosa really struggled at the plate and Cedeno had some horrid ABs.

All 3 pitching matchups against Houston favor us. So hopefully we get our first sweep of the year against the 'Stros.

lets just go to hallmark and buy mark prior a get well soon card . . . after watching miller today, i dont know if he is the best option for that fifth spot . . if he has another bad outting, i think we gotta go with guzman till prior gets better if he does . . .

I would rather see Dempster in the starting rotation than Miller.

I'm excited to get home. This season hasn't seemed like it has started yet because we haven't played at Wrigley yet. At Wrigley we are going to play well with all the talent we have.

I was reading through Al's daily recap on Bleed Cubbie Blue and he is right. Last year's team would have gave up in the 6th inning down 6-0. This team fought back.
