Wait, I didn't realize Powell was waived by the Knicks. Currently has 19pts and 4 asts in the third. If a consolidating trade occurs, I'm 100% on board with signing him. It's absurd that he's not on a team right now.

He's a pudgy, 6'2 SG, who doesn't play a lick of Defense.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

You figure it out when you have a shot maker of his ilk. He is an offensive force, especially efficiency wise, in this league because he isn't on a completely offensive inept team like he was at Seton Hall.

I also don't really understand the "pudgy" aspect, he looks pretty fit. If he's pudgy then so is Embiid, Harden, etc.

He's averaging 23ppg, 6apg, and 2spg in 4 games. He's going to get picked up by a team and it'll be a steal, imo.

Raptors are trading for Drummond? Are they really trying to make another run?

Rather them do it than the Nets, at least they can drive the price of him up.

I'm surprised a good organization like Tampa is interested in a loser like Drummond

Andre Drummond is the best defensive C of all-time and nobody believes it but me.

Wouldn't Drummond make the Nets really the worst defensive team ever?

Whiteside came off the bench and put up 26 and 16 in 24 minutes against the Nets last night.

32 year old DeAndre Jordan clearly ain't enough in their frontcourt. And the answer isn't to play Jeff Green at C.

The Nets will trade Landry Shamet for either Nerlens Noel or Hassan Whiteside by the deadline.

A lot of jabbing early on. Punch here punch there. Until the superstars will pull off their “rock bottoms” “choke slam” “stone cold stunner” to win games.

In the NBA, they’ll run mostly their sets. Then they’ll just go into PnR and 1v1. Superstars will make step backs, fade aways, shoot those 30 to 40 footers.

Defense is just an illusion just as hurting is in entertainment wrestling. It exists but the power is minimal.

This way you’ll see superstars like LeBron being able to play until they’re 40. Just as you see old wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and etc.

You say its watering down the sport. But its really relative.

This way they also can inflate the number of star caliber players because scoring is very easy and you just have to develop the right skillset. This is why guys like Drew Hanlen and Chris Johnson rise to their fame.

Kids are now being developed the right skillset. Run pick and roll, shoot and develop an ISO game. And you get guards like Maxey, Milton, SGA, Schroeder, coby white, Sexton, Jamal Murray, darius garland, cole anthony, fred van fleet and etc. being able to run PnR and shoot every draft. There’s maybe close to a hundred similar guys out there right now.

So being goodis easy compared to before but being special, its tougher than before.

In some ways i find that whenever you inflate a system, you’ll just increase inequality.

With this in mind, you have to look at talent as there is a huge surplus of low to mid end talent in the entire league.

So be quick to trade non top end talent. Find some dumb team who’d trade top end talent for a handful of low to mid end talent.

Value is relative to the supply.

I don't know why the league doesn't just award LeBron the MVP now. Or two months ago.

The theme in Lebron’s game this season is “defeating father time” this way he can secure beating Embiid who seems less durable than him while being more than 10 years younger

Would you guys go hard (All picks with Ben and Tobi) for Giannis if he eventually asks for a trade? I would and I do think he’d be perfect for Embiid.

Giannis could be the beast from first to third then have Embiid take over late game.

Giannis could also carry the team whenever Biid is off the floor or Biid is not playing.

If you have your center on Embiid, Giannis could just feast against smaller PFs where he’s probably the most dominant paint scorer since shaq.

No way

Giannis is a RS mvp but has been exposed in the playoffs in spite of having an entire roster built around him

I would take Rip Van Winkle LeBron, Steph, Durant & Kawhi over him in a heartbeat just to name a few

Giannis is on a fast track to nowhere in the PS

He’s a less skilled, more confident Ben with the full support of the NBA marketing machine

Do you seriously think that Joel & Giannis would both continue to be the beneficiaries of phantom calls if they teamed up?

No fkn way

Best 40+ million option is probably Paul but only if you can get him without giving up Joel or Ben

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
