Frankly, the only player in their starting lineup that I can stand is that Juan Carlo whatever guy. Another beat down tonight and I am really gonna need to take a break from this team.

Toscano-Anderson is a player. Makes me mad that we're so bad at finding scrap heap guys. I wish they would outlaw Steph pulling his mouthguard out. I like him, but that mouthguard move makes me puke.

I fully expect the Cavs to win this game and I have no clue why

Cavs could really use Kevin Porter Jr.

I agree but we should just move on as bringing it up over and over again isn't going to change the fact he's not with the team anymore for faults lying with both the player and the org.

I know i have just gotten the wind taken out of my sails with this team. I knew they were going to regress a little bit after a hot start, but I didnt expect them to regress back to arguably the worst team in the NBA who cant make a 3pt shot or play defense anymore.
How did they go from the first 3 weeks of the season to whatever the hell we have been watching for the past 3 weeks.

Drummond went from playing within the system to trying to earn a big payday after the Allen trade. oh and constant injuries and no consistency in line-ups to develop.

Yeah, I think Nance is a far more valuable player to this team than people realize. Its just weird though. Its like the defensive effort fell off the Earth. The first month EVERYONE was flying around playing max level energy on defense, now they play on their heels and give up 120+ points every game. Where did all of the deflections, passing lane steals and blocks go?
Also, we cant be running the same offense as we did to start the year. The ball movement which was so exciting is non-existant anymore. All we do every play is run a high P&R to get Sexland to the top of the FT line.
I know Drummond/Nance hurt a lot but it feels more like the whole style and mentality from the team changed since those Nets games.

Seems like offenses have started taking into account the defense looking for all the deflections and playing smarter. Not to mention the Cavs also lost Exum, even before the trade, who was bringing a lot of the defensive effort we expected from Okoro who hasn't been as good defensively as we hoped.
I wanted Avdija originally and to this point of the season I think he would've still been a better pick but Okoro has a lot of potential if he can start showing the defensive potential that was his selling point as he's looking to attack and score more offensively.

Yup. The whole Sexland thing isn't exactly living up to expectations. They have both been pretty bad recently.

I wish Cedi was on a good team. I feel like he’d play well with good teammates.
And now it’s time for Wiggins and Steph’s brother in law to score all over us.

It sucks, but KPJ has yet to play a minute for any NBA team yet this season. He was traded a month ago and is clearly talented enough to get on the court. People should allow for the possibility that whatever his issues are, they're relatively serious.Revenged25 wrote:LivingLegend wrote:Cavs could really use Kevin Porter Jr.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I think most people already knew that. Not sure what your point was. I've said for awhile now that whether he plays in the NBA ever again I just want him to get things figured out as that's more important than our entertainment.

My point is that before fans go placing blame on the organization it's probably important take that in consideration. It doesn't seem like KPJ would be able to help this team right now if he's unable to help the Rockets right now.

Man, when Dotson goes 4-8 from the field and leads the team in FG% for the night, you know it's time for the road trip to be over. It would be great if the Cavs could get back a legit backup PG, or even combo guard, in a Drummond trade because Garland and Sexton are showing signs of playing too many minutes.

30% from the floor isnt going to cut it and yeah dg still isnt nba level endurance wise.
Those 3 blocks on dg in a row followed by 2 tired open misses were terrible for his camp
