Tough game. I don’t know. I sound like a broken record but we are young and these are the growing pains? No, I’m starting to not believe we are on the right track sometimes.

A friend who is an avid NBA buddy of mine from back in the day, not a Hawks fan, actually he’s a Vancouver Grizz fan texted me to ask why Trae is trying to get his coach fired. I dunno what’s going on, maybe that’s not accurate but this isn’t the Trae from the previous couple of years. I mean he was even better as a rookie in terms of situational clutchness.

What’s up?

It remind me a lot of the Falcons with Quinn. Great player coach, but just doesn't develop players the way it is needed.

We talked all offseason how the offense was going to change from the Trae/JC heavy PnR since we now have more offensive options - we thought it would only affect JC? It is affecting Trae as well - Capela in the paint brings another defender for his floater, so I don't think he's getting those clean looks he did last season, he's cut back on his logo 3s attempt and even his ISO pull up 3s, he's not getting the continuation foul calls anymore, I can keep going but you get the point.

This teams not on the right track at all. Coach deserves blame but at what point does Travis Schlenk?

Maybe Bogdan Bogdanović is the key to our success. That must it (rolls eyes)!

Collins being involved in trade rumors has been all season and that's a distraction. Trae Young says the team doesn't seem to be prepared for our opponents.

for those of you scoring at home, that's 2 games in a row where Pierce has clearly put the blame on the players.


Is Trae going to double down and say we aren't prepared again?



Either way Pierce has clearly lost this team. He needs to go NOW.

we have ZERO competent wings right now. Both Cam and Huerter suck ass. Neither one of them has improved at all since they came into the league.

Le's not get carried away. Huerter has been really good this season. He's had a bad couple of games, but in February he's avg 14 ppg and 5 apg while shooting 41% from 3-pt range.

Pierce is done. His biggest mitake is not having his players back. Started with the team USA Trae slight when he said Trae didn't deserve it. Bad look for a coach even if true.

Not a players coach, not an Xs and Os coach..... and gets into ego problems with his players.... Maybe he needs to mature another ten years and maybe learn some coaching skills

“We have to continue to learn on the fly. We’re getting guys in and out. We’re mixing guys in. (Saturday), we just kind of went out there and just tried to play with effort. We just got to figure out how to close better and kind of learn on the fly.

“I just think a lot of teams are throwing things at us that we’re not prepared for right now."

he was also noticeably silent when his college buddy threw Trae under the bus earlier this year. And that looks even worse when you consider that Trae did get less respect from the refs immediately following the Nash comments.
