I swear we all got PTSD from how long this miserable period of Piston history has gone on, but some got it worse then others.

This team never gets recognized for anything positive since 2007 and a poster is really arguing that Bey didn't deserve this yikes man.

The committee that awards the player of the week honor decides what the criteria are for one player deserving it over other players. That is an undeniable fact. By that inarguable rationale Bey deserved the honor, period. Arguing that he didn't deserve it is pointless and not based in any logic because what anyone feels outside of that committee is moot. It's like telling the Miss America Pageant judges that their choice for winner wasn't deserved because you thought it should be someone else based on your personal criteria.

There is a thread on the wiretap and all of the comments are calling it a joke. This has nothing to do with hope etc. The player of the week is usually a guy putting up insane stats in a win. Bey's week was nowhere near what the other winners have been.

3-1 record combined with those unreal shooting %'s for sure gave him the edge over other players who scored more points per game.
