Sign Napier and Ersan, still one open spot for BO.

Rozier - Napier - (2)Adams
Holiday - DDV - Forbes - Merrill
Middleton - Craig - Nwora
Giannis - Ersan - Thanasis
Portis - Bamba - (2)Diakite

Help a guy out - does "FAILED" mean that this is a really bad idea?

You can fit two vet minimum players into Connaughton's slot underneath the hardcap. Or one, and be a player in buyout szn. I think it's a bit odd to say, "there weren't vet min game changers out there available" when guys like Jeff Green, Jeff Teague, Dwight Howard, Nic Batum, Markieff Morris, Demarcus Cousins, Reggie Jackson, Hassan Whiteside, Kent Bazemore, etc. all went for minimums/comparable deals. I think it's entirely reasonable to say that getting two of these guys would give our bench a pretty significant boost.

We're still a player in buyout season.

Pat didn't prevent us from signing any of those veterans minimum players.

I will answer with stats that you love ...
Donte's advanced stats VORP has reduced this year from 1.3 to 0.3 and RBPM from 1.3 to -0.2 . This is alarming...
We should trade him while he still has value.

Honestly Donte has probably the worst handles I have ever seen from a player on his size and athleticism, same goes for Pat C. They should be fined every time they bounce the ball more than once and that should be after faking a shot and do a one dribble pull up. One more thing that I dislike on Donte is his finishing touch at the rim. Haven't seen a short dude with that bad layup touch for a while. He shouldn't allow to drive at all, we could use his as a lob threat like we used Bayless in the past. At his age all that should have been polished. And he is not a good FT shooter too. I hate that he lost that FT against Miami and we went to overtime as much as I hated Brook Lopez losing a crunch FT few games ago, can't remember which game. If our starting SG and Center bend and losing FTs in crunch, while Giannis is in game too, we are in serious trouble come playoffs.

The trade deadline is March 25th. We play game 36 on March 4th in a 72 game season. We literally have $441,574 at our disposal. The 10 year vet minimum is $2,564,753. A league minimum for a guy with 1 year experience is $1,445,697. Do the math when it comes to pro-rated portions. That's not enough.

The 10 year vet minimum is irrelevant, as vets only count as $1.6 million against the cap. We have $600k. The math works prefect, relax man.

Having a 14 man roster cause of hard cap is comical. I am sure 29 GMs laugh at Horst for multiple reasons but this stands out as an all time GM blooper. I mean he signed Pat C an illegal contract and then just overpaid him to cover face and we hard capped ourselves. Is there any other team in League History to start the League and play 25 games in with a 14 man roster ?

please stop this. He has the best AST/TO ratio on the team, and he's been above 2 for every season with the team.

Your ignorance about subjects you have a strong opinion about is your downfall. Most of the contenders are playing with 14 man rosters, including the Lakers. It's a common maneuver, Rockets have been doing it for years.

As someone who doesn't have too much of a problem with Pat C I'm not really sure how this refutes his point. He's safe with the ball because he plays within his limitations but when he's forced to put the ball on the floor it's not exactly pretty.

Lmao what does assist to turnover ratio have to do with him not being able to dribble?

Donte has small hands and that’s not going to change. Troubling to his handle and ability to finish. His jumper looks better but save for him turning into a reliable volume shooter, he doesn’t have much value.

Nehm recaps the switching the Bucks did against the Suns and Jazz. Including how it worked against the Suns in the final minutes, and how Ingles tore them apart.

Middleton to Kings for Barnes, Haliburton, Whiteside and a 1st. Flip Jrue for a an up and coming SG and maybe a !st. Get younger and get some picks. This team is not contending anyways. Really think that Haliburton could be a stud all star for many years to come.

Giannis probably asks for a trade in a scenario like this
