Both Jays are great players, the rest of the team is a joke. Ainge **** up big time not using all those assets he had.

Cavs are reportedly not going to play Drummond anymore. They will instead focus on trading him.

Good tank move

Well, the good news is we’re still bottom 3...for now.

If the overriding goal is top 3 or 4 than all bottom 3 teams are the same.

The tank may be in trouble - Blake's sitting out as they work out a deal. It looks like a buyout.

This young team might not know how to lose enough to keep us in the bottom three.

With how well Delon has been playing this season, I wonder if we could squeeze a 1st rounder out of Philly. Could sweeten the pot and throw in Ellington too - they need shooters

Philly has the best record in the east right now. I think you could for sure get a 1st from them. It's just about who's contract needs to come back to make the money work.

Wizards and Bulls both won, good night for the tank.

I think Cleveland may be the most likely to bottom out. They're a mess.

At least their top pick should be Mobley as they already have Sexland and Okoro, so 1 less team to take Cade away from us.

Same with Wolves, they should priorize drafting Mobley. So the main threads for us not to draft Cade are Wizards and Magic.

Just curious, what makes Cleveland more of a mess than the Pistons? The situations are almost mirror images. Both teams have/had 2 vets that they're trying to figure out their immediate futures on (Drummond/Love, Rose/Blake), while ready to give big time minutes to and move forward with the young guys.

You trade Drummond to open up the full time job for Allen who you think is better. They have their guards and Okoro that they're ready to go forward with. Although it might happen due to lack of being able to close out games, I don't see an immediate bottom out mess.

So our game tuesday vs the Spurs is postponed due to covid and Wednesday's game against the Mavs is postponed due to weather.

Not sure if this is good or bad thing for the tank or how we make these games up

Weak defense of late, a lack of three point shooters and their small guards getting shots and pick and roll passes blocked in the recent games I watched. I understand they should improve over time and when Love returns but they don't seem to be coming together for this season. I'm sure the Drummond and Porter situations have helped undermine their team's cohesiveness as well. Both were expected to be key parts of the rotation this season. The Pistons on the other hand play strong defense, have a diverse set of offensive tools and are developing chemistry on the court.

Unfortunate for our tank, we are trending up while they are trending down IMO.

I think we’re pretty firmly entrenched in the bottom 3. Washington would need to shut down Beal and WB. Min - KAT and DLo for us to even remain #3

Cavs have fallen apart without Nance IMO.

He's one of those guys that never gets credit for all the little things he does on the floor but they've definitely missed him.

Ideally for Cleveland they'd get the #2 pick and take Mobley:

Allen, Mobley, Okoro, Sexy, Garland is young af and potentially dangerous.

As for Minnesota regardless of what they do or where they pick it just never seems to work. I'd hate for any of the top 5 prospects to go there.

Good point - Nance is their glue guy. They should be quite a bit better when he returns next month.
