There's probably some smoking hot holistic therapist pushing Cupping, so they're all like "Why not?"

Obviously not all kind of injuries, but here in Brazilian soccer is pretty common to measure the CK levels (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creatine_kinase) and usually they rest the players if the level is too high, because they have a high risk of rupturing tendons, etc.

is it a legitimate concern to be worried that our medical staff or whoever is making these decisions could be rushing players back? It's probably not the case and i may be overthinking things but i can't help but wonder.....Was Aminu really ready to come back when he did? Was fournier? was JI? All that and then you have the debacle with Cole...I mean with all that smoke there has to be a fire somewhere right? are players being rushed back in an effort to compete for an inconsequential 8th seed? It sounds ridiculous to me as it should because no one should put something over a person's health....but with these constant blunders you can't help but wonder....It also doesn't help when your leadership is cancelling/ducking interviews maybe in fear of being asked about the situation...Man this organization really seems dysfunctional, needs change from top to bottom

Is that what cupping is? I always thought these guys go to the beach a lot and get attacked by giant squids.

Anthony broke a rib, and this is why he is out.

How long is Ennis out and is there any update to this yet-another injury?

Self-correction. This is sad.

All I recall about Cole's status is "out until after the All-Star break"...any updates on him or AG's expected return?

(asking for other GM's facing a deadline in 3 weeks)

Vučević leads this team in starts at 36. The next highest Magicians are Ennis and Bacon at 23 each. These injuries are crippling any cohesion.

Gary Clark has more starts than Markelle Fultz, he also has more starts than Al-Farouq Aminu, Khem Birch, Terrence Ross, Chuma Okeke, and Mo Bamba combined.

GARY CLARK !

When the season ends, it might be worth counting the days lost to injury. I am guessing the Magic is averaging 5 players missed per game.

For Porter, wearing a boot means he is out at least 2-weeks. That is a much more serious injury than I thought and it reminds me of the Gordon ankle-twist absence.
