Well can’t say I’m surprised to see Barton back in the start in the lineup, especially after last nites performance by our forwards, Malones crutch.

Are we sure for Barton? I read on twitter that he is still out for personal reasons

Hopefully we have Harris and/or Monte.

I did notice that Katie didn't mention Greg Whittington. It is his birthday, maybe a good time to debut! JK, he's out as well, this might be rough.

If Jokic playing it is a must-win game, despite Washington tanking this season against weak teams only, so the Beal-Westbrook team has a couple of big wins so far.

2nd most important thing is the comeback of shooting confidence of Michael Porter Jr masterfully destroyed this month by coach Malone. I remember during a playoff at the end of the Utah series and the start of the Clippers series MPJ was 2-17 for 3pt, he takes too emotionally when Malone makes a scapegoat of him. But he regroups soon and his 3p shooting was great 32-72 (44%) in the playoff without that 2-17 sequence.

Porter started this season with fantastic 50% 27-54 3pt shooting before this month, but once he realizes that in Malone's Nuggets vision (at least this season) he is under 20mpg bench player his shooting is collapsed in February, especially 3pt shooting to terrible 22% (9-41).

Jokic should easily dominate.
I wonder about JaMychal Green vs Rui Hachimura.
This matchup should be a good one for Barton.
Guards? Oh, oh - clearly the Wizards have the advantage here. This may be the key to the game (for Denver anyway; for Washington the key might be at center).

Harris and Morris are back, which should be good for us
I would like to see Nnaji vs Hachimura and let Green play from the bench like he is used to

That flop attempt by Wagner might've been the worst I've seen all season. But I don't blame him. The only way to stop Jokic is to draw fouls.

Porter playing well right now, he just needs to get his shoot back. And if he gets it back, and Malone benches him when Barton gets back he should be fired first time he does that.

Yikes, that's a horrible 2nd Quarter by the Nuggets.

What a joke after a 41-21 lead.

The offense worked well, but Wizards have weapons to damage you if you playing without defense.

So many things went wrong in that 2nd quarter.

- Wizards were way more aggressive, shot 15 FTs to Nuggets 1 FT.
- Nuggets started settling for too many 3s.
- The Bench was severely outplayed (again).
- Jokic sat out for too long IMO.
- Poor transition defense.

Malone doesnt help with his rotations... Its like he is creating them with some random generator.. If we cant secure Top5, he has to go tbh

This is so painful... better if Murray missed that shot.

Both calls against Green in the last 10 seconds which gives WAS key 5 points are controversial, but he must be more careful in such moments.

Now is clear that the bigger loser of Barton's 35mpg presence is definitely Jamal Murray. In three games without Barton, he was almost bubble good 25-6-4 , 25-6-6 , 36-9-6 (with 52%FG%) comparing to the disappointing season's 19-4-5 (45%FG%) averages.

I wouldn't say controversial cause they were obvious fouls. Poor defending in last 2s. For God sake can we defend for 2 freakin' seconds?!

First, I can't believe I still can't watch games because they can't agree on a broadcast deal.

Second, were those last 2 calls really warranted? Giving a team 5 fts in 8 seconds, the last 2 with .1 second left, seems pretty extreme.

Those were clear fouls on Green but how do you get Green on Beal in the last second? I don't get it,this reminded me on Plumlee D against last Lakers attack in the Playoffs
