I haven’t heard much about Kemba since the bubble. In fact, I do quite frankly believe I read Ainge tried to shop him to everybody to land some form of assets to get Holiday and shed Kemba and it didn’t work.

I’ve heard Kemba was a better player and point guard for Boston than Kyrie Irving. How’s that working out?

Meanwhile, Kyrie is putting up All NBA numbers, his team is 1 game out of 2nd place in the East, and he will be a starter in the all star game.

all that talk that boston was" better without kyrie" despite the facts show otherwise. yet they are actually better without kemba, who basically cost them a chance at the NBA finals last year

Dray would be great as broadcast guy . No doubt there's hypocrisy out there and better half of fans reason why. What Dray has to understand is the fact he's an employee and signed up to follow rules. Has no problems collecting checks.

He is 100% right.

A player wants out and they get villified or even fined. a team wants to move the player and the player needs to shut up, be a pro, and live with it. Kyrie needs to step away for personal/mental health reasons and is destroyed for it. he needs to shut up, stop whinining and play.

its the same thing in general. if a guy doesnt give canned cliche anwsers he is a cancer and needs to "say the right things"

its just more slave owner mentality and white supremist patriarch culture.

its trash. i love anytime anyone speaks out against it

What rules does he need to follow? "shut up and dribble"

He makes a pretty clear point that if a player wants out, he is the bad guy. but when a team wants to move the player he has to behave, "be professional" and not speak ill.

In reality, nobody should bad mouth anyone. If a player wants out, fine...the team has a decision to make. If a team wants to move a player, that's their prerogative. In either situation, nobody is doing anything wrong.

I'm not going to argue the fact that certain situations should be handled better. Dre for example is perfect reason why GM's and owners can't OD and abuse their power. But when player go MIA with not letting anyone know what happened while being paid or break covid rules during pandemic is not how it works and you know better. Whether we like it or not there are rules we have to follow for reasons, I hope I don't have to explain. ( or should I)

Kyrie told the team. so right out of the gate you are way off. second, from marks own mouth, the absence was excused. last, these are not slaves or prisoners. they have free will and can choose what they want to do as long as they are willing to accept the repricautiouns of their actions. which kyrie was.

yeah im not cool with this slave mentality like jackie McMullin where players need to share their personal issues to the public and come in to work when they are not mentally, physically, or emotionally ok to do so. like F that noise. Draymond is 1000% right and im sick and tired of people defend racist white billion trash at the expense of young black men.

Jarrett Allen goes off on Collin Sexton: “Don’t **** talk to me that way”

Damn. Never seen him that pissed off.

Yeah, that kind of fire could help drive him to the next level though. I hope he gets off the Cavs but doubt it'll happen given his RFA status... Still one of my favorite players in the league.

Easier to get **** given to you by KD/Kyrie/DeAndre than it is Collin Sexton.

It's a lot different coming from guys who are older than you and know the game as opposed to someone the same age as you.

I wish fans/people would stop equating NBA players' "jobs" to regular people. "That's not how it works in the professional world!"

You're not a multi million dollar pro athlete, who are essentially the product in their business, stop thinking the same rules apply to them.

He should be pissed because Sexton left Allen hanging out to drive on a screen when he should have hopped over to cut the ball handler off.

Sexton is the same age as Allen so lord knows what kind of dumb **** came out of his mouth, but you know it had to be something for a chill dude like Jarrett to snap like that. I'm glad he blew up at him, some people think that just because someone is mild mannered that they won't slap the hell out of you for coming at them sideways.
