Maybe Jones best move as a GM was not trading for Russell last year. It would have been the quick fan service move and would have made Booker happy but they were never a great basketball fit.

Admittedly I've never been a DLo fan but even I would have said 'i get it' had they traded for him.

Not saying the DLo move would've been easy to do but the decision would've been easy to make given Book and his relationship. Glad JJ decided to go in that direction. I also have to admit, if that trade went down, I lowkey would've been kinda excited.

I miss Ricky Rubio! We still would be where we are at in ranking with Ricky!

So Washington beat Denver tonight. Monster games by Jokic and Murray and a really bad game from Westbrook (despite a triple double..almost quadruple with turnovers but 5-15 from field and 0-2 from 3)..Beal wasn't great.

BUT, Bertans was 9-11 from 3. Wizards won by 2. The rest of the Wizards were 6-22 from 3.

Nice to see Denver lose though.

Clippers are also currently beating the Jazz without Kawhi or George. They actually started Lou Williams, Reggie Jackson and Patrick Beverley.

Damn, Portland won ANOTHER very close game..Lillard with 43 and 16..hit 7 3s. Against the Pelicans of course who lost by 2. I'd rather the Pelicans have won before we play them...not lose a very close one by 2.

Lillard is ridiculous.

Since the bubble he has played at an MVP level.

I understand that fans did not think he could be that great, but how in the world the coachs from the Nuggets did not see it?

They were on every workout and seeing the guy closely for a full season...I can not get it.

He is for sure an All Star and right there with Jimmy Butler and Paul George as a great two-way SF.

Sabonis hit 13-of-21 shots, a 3-pointer and 9-of-11 free throws for 36 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and a block against the Timberwolves.

The Wolves can not buy a win and it is great for us because we need to get serious distance with some West teams.

Every team in the West were in the playoffs race a couple of weeks ago but now Wolves, Rockets and Thunder are looking out of that picture.

It would be great if another Western team joins them ASAP.

I remember all the discussion about him and Oubre being about the same (though they seemed like different types of players to me) but that Oubre would get paid more. Now Grant makes an avg of over $20 million and people felt Oubre could very well make more and that he would definitely get paid. It will be interesting to see what kind of contract he gets. I wonder if he'd be killing it as a starter on the last place Pistons. Saddiq Bey was killing it too.

I figured the Thunder would fade eventually, but they can beat anyone on a given night....I mean before AD went out, they took the Lakers to OT twice..they have beaten a lot of good teams...I think they beat the Bucks the other night and nearly beat them twice.

I still say they must have an amazing coach..

Sabonis is awesome. Once Indy gets Warren and LeVert back they will be really tough.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't want anyone else at the end of a close game with the ball in his hands. I'd take him over anyone in the NBA...maybe for a long while. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I can think of guys I would take over him. The only guys who come to mind in the vicinity are Dirk and Jordan, but Jordan couldn't hit 3s. And Curry is also a consideration too but he rarely is shooting high pressure 3s at the end of games like Lillard is...though I assume he could make them...seems to have ice in his veins.

Everyday is a good day to celebrate that Josh Jackson, Chriss and Bender do not play for the Suns anymore.

You'd think Booker would be on that graphic with all those late game shots he takes.

Oubre may have had his best game as a Warrior last night. 23, 8, 3, 2, 60% from the field and 4-7 from 3.

I love Coby White's reaction. He must have the best reactions and facial expressions.

Oh, I guess so...was 7-10 from 3 in that one with 8 boards as well. This was probably his second best, though he had another one with similar #s.

Blowing our lead sucked the other night, but I don't feel quite as bad losing to Brooklyn and knowing we were dominating them early, given they are beating the Lakers by 20 right now. Kyrie is playing but he is 4-12 and 0-5 from 3 with 3 turnovers so he's not exactly helping them.
