He definately has some head scratcher moments but he also has really good moments. There's also value in that he's able to play with LeBron or LeBron can play with him. LeBron played a few games with Isaiah in Cleveland and was like hell no. But what kind of trade did you have in mind?

Yeah, trading him would be a mixed bag... My thing is he's just not as great a fit as I expected. Maybe it's the short season and lack of training camp/practice time, that's to blame, but I just wonder if it's too much to pay for what he brings to the team...
In all honesty, I'd be fine with a Caruso/THT rotation at the 1... In fact, Caruso often looks like the rich man's Schroder at times.

I think we need a 2/3 combo player more than a 2 who's too short so plays the 1 instead... A week or so, I was saying we didn't need Beal, but now I'm thinking if we could trade for Beal and pick up a big on the buyout market, we might be better off.

If a starting spot and over 20M price tag is the prerequisite for extension, I say trade him.

I love his tenacious defense and ability to drive and score. He has his own problem. He does not worth over 20M to me. We have THT to drive and score which make Dennis somehow more expendable, and hefty salary from him may not suit the team salary structure with a few of our very good role players waiting for extension next offseason

With the way teams are over paying for players I don't think we have the assets to trade for beal. Personally I don't think anyone's looked stellar so I'm not going to single Dennis out. He's shown enough flashes to still have hope. But, if something comes along better I'm sure Rob will take a look at it. Honestly, I'm starting to look at KCP side eyed. We could easily trade him, put in Wesley and give Caruso and THT more minutes depending on what comes back from the trade.

Best I could come up with:
https://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/7400664

That's a lot to give up, but it's also a lot of production that doesn't really fit the rest of our team.
