Definitely associate him more with the Chargers. Sounds like a very sad situation.

Kawaan Short released today. Not sure how much he’s got left but might be a cheap vet we can plug in the D-line rotation.

Yesterday we were the hot name linked to JJ.

Today it is Cleveland, they make more sense.

The source for that appears to be Cleveland.com, who I am sure present this information solely as a public service and any clicks they receive from Browns fans are purely coincidental.

The actual article appears to be completely speculative.

Until Watt says something or starts going on visits I don’t think anybody really knows anything.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire. All it’s really gonna take is a playoff team with cap space. JJ will go to the highest bidder amongst those teams. Maybe his preference is Green Bay but follow the cash

Exactly...Cleveland has just as good of a chance as GB and they can pay him more.

Know he had a good career in TB too, but will always associate him with the exciting San Diego teams of the mid-to-late 2000s. If LT had been even two years younger/more aligned to Philips/Gates/Jackson, I really think that team would have won a ring. Just an absurd amount of offensive talent.

Was a crime to fire Schottenheimer (also RIP) after a 14-2 year.

Great thread.

So maybe we can assume that Matt LaFleur is in the hot seat after 2 13-3 seasons?

You jest but I've seen more then a few people on other forums suggest that he is and should be fired with Gute if they don't win the SB

That was great and I totally agree. Those Chargers teams were fun and he shouldn’t have been fired. And for Norv Turner no less?

Here's the complete trade, also includes a 2021 3rd rounder

Don't like this trade at all for Indy. Wentz is cooked. Shouldve just traded for Darnold

Only glimmer of hope for Indy is that reich was carson's coach when philly won it all. Was his best year. Still id rather have them swing for the fences and get watson. Indy has a sb defense and o line. Might as well push all the chips in.

Perhaps Reich can get something out of him. It's a gamble for the Colts, but the draft capital isn't massive.

Was secretly hoping the Bears would blow their load for Carson and then we'd have two cooked QB's in our division for a few seasons.

I dunno. I kinda like having the 3 best QBs in the division. Wentz might of been 3rd best :)

I don't watch Philly often, but as far as I could tell he had no WR, no offensive line and his back up TE was the number one receiving option until a UDFA plucked off the street had three really good games.

I think on top of reuniting with Reich, this is about as good a situation as he could have landed in, if he is going to reboot his career.
