I meant to add Slice was really clutch also with a lot of real time stats which is nice. Say someone is driving and listening and since there are no visuals its nice to back up the commentary with real time stats from the game and he was good on the spot bringing up numbers from the game. Wasn't forced either like just reading a box score...was pretty smooth way to bring up numbers to enhance his points.

I'm a finance guy myself so love when people can rattle of some stats without it sounding like you are just reading off a sheet or box score. It just adds a little more validity to the comment then this guy played well or this guy sucked (which I feel a lot of youtube/pods are so reactionary looking for outlandish reactions) rather then substance which I liked from your guys show...just smoothly adding in this guy helped out off the bench with 12 pts and 4 assists in 18 mins...or this guy played good defense holding so and so to 3-10 from the field. Those are always nice add-ins, so I for sure noticed that with your commentary.

Just finished listening to the last episode fellas. Was impressed. Wasn't just fluff reactionary stuff...gave a lot of insightful info which I like (waiting for the KDOT fun fact of the day) - which should absolutely be a thing on the POD

I think with more time chemistry will come. You can't just force that...once you guys start feeding off each other and knowing where to pick your spots it will improve the flow of the POD, but that will come with time. Humor is always important and I know 2010 was throwing in some lines about the ref and clowning on Solomon Hill and Skyler Mays or when KDOT was saying Sham is going to have to keep putting up game threads (which that sh*t is calculated ) he saw our schedule and knew this was the time to start making threads...we all know it. Energy level and humor are always good to keep the interest level up in the POD.

Just a little constructive criticism. I know its challenging to get a quiet space (trust me I know with a 2 year old on work calls) but the dog in the background (not sure who that was) can be a little distracting from time to time. Nothing major but as the POD advances and you start bringing in more listeners you want the show audio as clean as possible.

I do like the idea of either bringing in a different new guest person from the board every game (that would keep things interesting). Or at least have some kind of audience participation which I believe Moo stated about leveraging our large fan base here at realgm.

Otherwise very cool and very impressive with just 2 shows under your belt, looking forward to the next episode on Wed!

That was my dog. Cosmo was a very good boy Saturday night when we recorded episode 1. So I thought I could trust him again but clearly that trust was misplaced I’m def gonna need to lock him up tmrw night.

My priority right now is to get this thing onto YouTube ASAP. I feel like that’s the next step for us. Right now I’m working on this animated set to use for the background on that. Once we get a decent looking show, we’ll have to start doing social media, having guests, and lastly do interactive audience stuff.

Do you know who that photoshop wiz on the forum? Aeromej or something like this? I’m a video guy, not really a photoshop guy cuz we need a logo. I’m gonna try my hand at it but I’d rather have a pro help.

I like a lot of the ideas you have about expanding the show. Obviously anything I can do to support I will try my best. We haven't had too many interactions but 3 of my guys KDOT, 2010, and Slicin (wait till BAF talk gets on the show ) on the show so I would love to see all you guys do well!

I agree with you and others that this board has a nice demo mix and not just old heads or "stat nerds" but a good mix of people who bring various view points. Hopefully with the solid crew we have we're able to make some noise w/ this pod.

Those were exactly my thoughts, i'd love to see him get some burn here, but if he's not. might as well leverage him as an asset and let him play somewhere else.

What might work is maybe getting some of the Westchester Knicks to call in and getting Knick fans more familiar with these guys. You can plan some sort of set of questions (some funny, some serious, etc.) and just interview those guys. Obviously not going to be able to get the NBA Knicks players but RGM might be able to pull of getting something worked out with the Westchester Knicks so that they can be part of the podcast. Gets visibility and starts building a relationship with the actual team...even if it's not with the main NY team. Can do the same with guys behind the scenes that work the advanced stats and do the leg work with the scouting team too. Since we are apparently old nerdy guys, might as well milk that part of it and make some of these podcasts more "intellectual".

I don't get Thibs whenit comes to Frank. The kid is an impact player just with his defense. His lack of scoring never really hurt when he was on the floor too often. Thibs lets Bullock go cold for games on end yet plays him. Why? Frank could do what he does with better defense. No minutes ever? I don't get it.

It sucks because I was really looking forward to any progression he may have made going into this season. He came out shooting pretty well... never to be seen again. I want to see him play. If not here... trade him.
