I think that there should be 15 players per Conference.
There's 15 Teams, and up to 15 NBA Players/Team. It only makes sense.

They could do it in 3 Sections.: Starters -- Rotation -- Reserves.
God forbid, that they actually get Defensive Players on there.

I'll be happy that Jaylen Brown makes the All-Stars. Reserves, is OK.
We know that Tatum is going to make it. Close to being a Starter.

Coaches definitely will vote Tatum in, Jaylen is obviously deserving, but I wonder if our record will keep him from making it.

I think he will get in. I go back and forth because of our record, but he really should make it, especially being in his hometown.

I don’t want him or Tatum anywhere near the actual
game, but of course I want them to get the reward of being named an all star.

There's a slight chance Jaylen doesn't make it. The six obvious guard choices are the six highest vote-getters in the fan vote, and perhaps only 5 total will be selected for reasons of roster balance. Simmons could be a possibility as well.

That said, Jaylen is as much a forward as he is a guard. Further, if 7 frontcourt players make it, they'll probably include 4-5 of Embiid, Giannis, Sabonis, Bam and Randle, along with Durant and Tatum. So Jaylen, as a natural SF, would fit balance pretty well.

What would be weird is if Hayward is selected over Jaylen.
