Honestly, if you are complaining about the quality of your viewing content watching Pistons games then I would have figured you'd have moved on long ago. Where have you been the last 15 years?
To be clear, are you co-signing what I said and just speaking in general? Or is that directed to me?

Mostly directed to the post from underdawg but also to you as well. Your response included "the posters" instead of something more inclusive such as "us". So I took that as you separating yourself from the group wanting the youngsters to play more. Did I misinterpret that?
I'm addressing the posters who were turned off by every second of playing time guys like Blake and Rose were getting and would incessantly state they would be all in if the youngsters were playing.

So in that scenario it doesn't matter who the team is playing against because you're tuning in to watch the youngsters like you've been asking for.

No. Nobody said: "They should play the youngsters because it's always more fun to watch" (although sometimes it's the case). They want the youngsters to play more because that's how you better their skills and that's better long term for the franchise.

So you really did miss my point in my previous post. Yes, I along with others complain when Casey plays the vets too much. No, it's not because it will always result in something that's more fun to watch. Yes, it's the right thing to do because giving vets who won't be here in a year or two more experience does nothing for us long term.

So those pointing and laughing because nobody is posting and/or because we look bad when playing the young guys and are somehow trying to find irony are.. well... just wrong.

But you don't just play the young guys regardless.

They should play when they are deserving and have earned their minutes otherwise you're sending the message that you get rewarded regardless because we don't care what happens right now, we care where you're at 2 years from now.

The idea is you teach them the right way now, that it becomes ingrained in them so in 2 years time it's second nature to them.

Bey, Stewart & Jackson had no trouble earning playing time. Sekou and Svi still trying to figure that out

But that's not what was happening either. Guys like Saddiq would play great one game and then get 5 minutes the next. There wasn't any correlation between playing time and performance. Casey would just be blindly giving the vets minutes and some random bench players and/or rookies would get minutes some nights and none the next.

I commented on that at the time cause it happened to Svi, Sekou & Bey and there didn't appear to be any rhyme or reason for it.

Only thing I could put that down to was some idiotic resting plan they had, which is just as infuriating as the DNPs.

Bro can you not comprehend well? THE POST SAID THEY'RE PLAYING THE GRIZZLIES. I SAID IT SHOULDN'T MATTER SINCE YOU'RE TUNING IN TO WATCH YOUR TEAM!!! NOT ONLY YOUR TEAM, BUT THE ACTUAL ITERATION OF YOUR TEAM YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.

Is that better? Basically who you're playing doesn't matter. Maybe MY point went over YOUR head.

Do you comprehend the idea that if something isn't enjoyable to watch that you simply don't watch it? That if it isn't interesting that you don't comment on it? That at the same time that is happening the coach could be playing the young players who are making mistakes while learning and that that is still what is best for the future of the franchise?

Not watching a specific game or posting in a game thread isn't a signal that we are upset or unhappy with the direction things are going. It's about what helps us win long term that matters. You consistently fail to grasp this. I'm not commenting further because it's clear you're not being rational at this point.
