The year 2035. Your NBA finals:

The Lebron James led Cleveland Cavaliers (after the Return Part II, the Return of the Return) vs. the Chris Paul led New Orleans Pelicans (after the "other Return").

Seriously though, he keeps doing it and it seems like he won't ever stop, I'm amazed at the differences in how guys age and him playing this well is awesome. Glad to see the Suns doing well too.

I don’t care about his All Star nod. His placement among the pantheon of Point Guards shouldn’t be in question.
There is 0 aspects of basketball he isn’t elite at. Whoever is compared to him maybe more dominant in a certain area(which may or may not be enough to get the nod) but there’s no Point Guard who beat him in multiple facets of basketball.
Passing
Game management
Off the dribble shooting midrange and deep
Defense
Rebounding
Off ball shooting
Post play
Finishing
Fastbreak
The most complete Point Guard ever. Point God. CP3 for president.

Its not a coincidence Thunder improved a lot when CP3 joined and the same happened for the Suns. They have a great record!

I feel bad for Booker though. Hopefully he is the injury replacement.

I had little doubt he would get snubbed. Suns are too big of a story now.

His longevity is so crazy. This is the same guy who was playing against Iverson and Kidd in all-star games at the beginning of his career.

No point guard has EVER been this consistent. 14 years of elite PG play.

Honestly the thing I find most impressive about Chris Paul is his defense. He's barely 6 feet and he's been one of the best defensive guards in the league for basically his entire career. He's a good example to bring up when people bring harp on size as an excuse for bad defense.

CP3 leads the Suns in WS, WS/.48, BPM, RAPM and VORP. Idk know what that means exactly but it sounds impressive.

And the Rockets. And the Clippers. And the Hornets.

Paul’s jumps to new teams have always been a big boost in wins. Every, single, time.

Chris Paul has made teams owned by four of the five worst owners of the last 20 years into top 4 seeds.

Fertita, Shinn, Sarver and Sterling.

He just needs to take the Knicks into the top 4 and then he can finish his career in Charlotte to make it 6/6.

They were but they statistically played like a GOAT team when he was in the lineup. 71 win pace and +10.7 point differential when he played that year. People think them taking the Warriors to 7 games was some big overachievement, no, they were that good when he played.

From a narrative standpoint, sure. They're a great feel-good story.

Stats and impact metrics just don't support it.

Should be strongly considered for #2 against anyone but Jokic has had the MVP trophy firmly in his hands.
