I kind of wanted him last season. Luke warm at best now.

If he plays too well then he wouldn't be available.

Celts really need a specialist like Bertans.

Those wondering why the Celts let go of Kanter, just watch the Wizards vs. Blazers game.

Kanter will get rebounds and score points, but he's really horrible on defense.

Hence the pun.

Just looked up. Terry is shooting 46% from 3 but it may go even higher after his 9-12 from 3 tonight.

Guess he wasn't as crazy as people said for being mad about his role and playing time. Another swept under the rug Ainge Gem (because of the year of kyrie). He was held back here. I'm proud of him. Still hope he doesn't do anything when playing us!

I know a lot of the picks over the last few years haven't amounted to anything but what if some guys came to a good situation (for the team) but it stunted what they could have become in other situations because top talent was in their way? Or some guys who were made to just try and fit a role instead being allowed/able to find their role. I know some guys are just going to be bad/bust, it is what it is, but I think some guys could have at least hung around had they gone to a trash team with unlimited opportunity.

Yes, I have thought about the other side, maybe some guys made it BECAUSE they started in a good environment (maybe Kelly O). I'm just throwing around a what if.

(I think i may have already said this but w/e )

Edit: not saying held back by CBS really but because of other talent and how we were trying to win for a while now.

Going to play my North Carolina card as I slowly blend into a Hornets fan.

I miss being the feel-good team, or anything good team.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Rozier has always been a gamer. And he's been known to hit those EOQ buzzer beaters even in his time in Boston. But you have to wonder if Tatum and Brown would still blossom into the stars they are now had we also kept TRo. If I have an Ainge non-move to criticize, it's not trading him for something post-ECF run when his value was at its peak or even the trade deadline that following season when it was clear that there were chemistry issues and too many guys needing their touches.

Oddly enough, he's only been a positive on the floor for a full season once in his career -- that Hospital Celtics season when both Kyrie and Gordo were down.

No stats to back this up, but other than maybe Joe Harris I dont think there is a better spot up 3 point shooter in the league this season than Rozier. Dude is straight money on catch and shoots.

If it's high-volume, cutoff randomly set at 5 attempts per game, then he's 2nd to Joe Harris and just ahead of Steph. If cutoff is 2 per game, he's currently 6th among 229 players -- Monk, Harris, Mook, Seth, PG ahead of him.

Harden is just unstoppable. I can’t believe i didn’t join that Harden train. Kyrie, Kd and Harden rarely have off games. Those three are ways better offensively than any players we have, and it’s not even close right now.

where are the posters who were happy to point out Brooklyn's defensive struggles? 6 in a row and 5-0 on the WC road trip. Oh and all without KD.

Meanwhile they gifted Boston like 5 lottery picks and we are currently a 500% team. Yet people would rather die on Ainge's/Steven's Hill than to admit maybe just maybe, they blew it.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

And just like that, the Raptors have leapfrogged us in the standings. They beat a fully healthy Sixers team tonight.

Two excellent coaches. I'd say on the same level. That bubble series was epic.

Only way Stevens gets fired is if the Celts have consecutive bad seasons.

If Celts miss the playoffs or exit the playoffs in the 1st round 2 straight seasons, that will get Brad fired.

Right now there's a bigger chance of Bradley Beal ending up with the Celts than Brad getting fired.

That sucks! We are a treadmil team with Brad. Same **** every season for 3 years now. We are just lucky the east are weak. If we don’t make the playoffs this season, or loses in the 1st rd convincingly, Brad gets fired.

Nah! That series would have been over sooner, if not for Brad **** us up. That cost us the series against Heat, guys are dead tired after a gruelling 7 games. Plus nurse is a motivator, Brad isn’t. You need those type of leaders in the playoffs.
