Desperate take. "He's better than him" nah.

Booker hasn't even peaked yet, Lavine is great and no doubt an elite guard but Booker is the leader and go to scorer on a VERY good Phoenix team who are 19-10 West.

Bulls are fighting with the Knicks for 8th/9th seed in the East. Lavine is having the better season individually but I wouldn't say he's better as a player right now if we look at their attributes. Lavine is shooting phenomal this season and always had an arsenal of offense and he will continue to break records through his career. Lavine with the 13 threes, Devin with the 70 points. We both are witnessing upcoming SG legends, along with Beal. All guys can shoot, score at 25-28 ppg freely and haven't peaked yet.

Right now I say it's 1a/1b type situation. A healthy draw between the two. As the season plays out and numbers begin to get normalize, you'll see that their production are both similar and essentially are at the same tier because historically they both been bad defensive guards and the one thing you notice this year is their individual and switching defense has improved and it also shows in their defensive rating because they're both posting career ratings on defense.

I think this conversation will have more balance if we get to see both guys in the playoffs and see how they do for their teams. They're both the Go To Guy but Lavine has more work to do since his cast is extremely raw with White, Carter Jr and Williams where as Booker is playing with a very good roster with hall of famer Chris Paul, #1 pick in Ayton and Mikel Bridges/Cam Johnson who basically solidify the F position for Phoenix since both guys can play both sides and Bridges is extremely underrated. I think Booker can take his team further based on the fact he has more help. I believe Lavine is naturally clutch and can preform big it's just right now he doesn't have a good team. If you watch Bulls game, Lavine most of the time is the only one game. Williams is good but just a rookie.

But yea, Lavine is elite. Honestly they're two of the best SG's not named Beal.

yo, by the way

Charlotte Hornets been box office TV all year.

The exciting announcers they got (great chemistry)

Their exciting set of guards (Ball, Rozier, Graham)

Their new uniforms are actually pretty nice and it's a blessing they made it this far when 15 years ago we allowed the Bobcats in the NBA to make the worse blue and orange combo of all time, totally disregarding the Knicks as they are the only team deem fit to wear orange and blue ever.

Random ass Puerto Rican twins (Cody and Caleb Martin)

They got a great clutch win over Golden State, Green messed up with the technical but Terry Rozier before the game winning shot hit multiple 3 pointers before and was fouled on them. Refs didn't call the foul so Green's blunder brought balance to a game Curry randomly pulled out of. Wonder what happen to Steph.

Yeah I have enjoyed watching some of their games this season. I recently moved back near Charlotte and will probably go to some games if the virus ever ends

The reason I say Lavine is better is cause how efficient he is. He’s a #1 option with 52/43/87 splits averaging 29 PPG. That’s pretty insane. If he had a supporting cast like Booker does, he’d be in the playoffs right now.

Lavine's first step and athleticism puts him slightly above Booker right now. He can not only shoot lights out, he can get to the rim at will.

Booker's game should age more gracefully when both reach 30 though.

His value is probably higher than Beal's now since he's younger than him tbh. I'm giving up on my Lavine dream..will just have to wait for free agency now

No way the Bulls would trade him to us without taking our assets for the next 10 years anyway.
