I was really hoping that Cheryl Reeve would get a legit look for the job, at the end of the season. Or call San Antonio about Becky Hammon. WTF has Finch done to get the call, other than previously work with Gersson?

Sad to see Saunders go, really wanted to see him do well. It would've been a hella good story if Flip Jr was able to led the Timberwolves to relevancy. Sadly that was not the case. Here's to looking forward that Finch would be a good coach for the franchise.

Sounds like we dumped a Taylor bobo for a Rosas bobo. Kinda scares me that we gave him a multi year deal. He could have interimed for us this season and been evaluated.

G League coach for 3 seasons and was G League Coach of the Year 2010

Assistant coach for 10 seasons for Rockets, Nuggets, Pelicans, and Raptors

Wolves will be 1st HC NBA gig.

Interviewed for Wolves in 2019 when Gersson first took over.

About damn time. Ryan Saunders last excuse was wait till KAT is back but the wolves went 1-7 during that time. He also led the league in blown 4th Quarter leads with 5-8 record along with the worst record in the NBA at 7-24 with an overall record of 43-93.

It was a fun story many all wished to work out but he wasn’t ready. Maybe he can go take over Richard Pitino and the Minnesota Golden Gophers Basketball job.

Apparently this selection wasn't "out of the blue", seems it's been mentioned that Gersson interviewed him for the job when he took over in 2019.

No doubt it was bye Taylor's "urging" that Ryan got his shot to stick around and see if he'd work. Probably due to a mixture of the whole "good ol boy" vibe and the money Glen still owe Thibs,
