even if we reached the playoffs, a center rotation of gasol/davis/trez is pretty soft defensively.

if one gets injured, we're pretty much f'd.

dont want to sound like a broken record. but idk what the heck was the FO thinking letting go of both howard and mcgee but they had no problem with dudley resigning.

Imagine going to overtime vs this wizards team and loosing. Pathetic is an understatement.

Definitely a terrible move at the time and even more so with the benefit of hindsight.

A huge part of the Laker's dominance last season was the size, they were just bigger and stronger than everybody else. It was smash mouth basketball and it worked in a league of teams going small, since that physicality took its toll mentality on opponents. The stat where the Lakers didn't lose a game all season when leading at the start of the 4th was telling. There was definitely an intimidation factor

Gasol and Harrell? Nice names on paper, but they're completely different players and that's led to this year's team having no real identity. Having better offense is well and good but this team with its mediocre shooting is not going to win a championship getting into shootouts.
