Tiger rolled over his car.
Said to be in stable condition after surgery. Two broken legs and a shattered ankle.
If he tried to deliberately end his career, he wouldn't have to do too much worse.

There’s a chapter in one of my favorite sports books, “Why Michael Couldn’t Hit,” in which the author, a neurologist named Klawans, explains the physiology behind Hogan’s ability to regain his form after a more serious car accident than Tiger just had. Highly recommended reading.
Nevertheless, with the back issues and now this, I see him in kind of a Fred Couples cadence after the bones mend, showing up for the Masters and little else.
