That recent back surgery was minimal compared to the spinal fusion that made Tiger Woods "pain-free" and competitive again.

you are correct in that sense, but with his back no procedure would be considered minor anymore. Take it from me, one of the few people in the world who's actually had more back surgeries (7) than Tiger.

Looking at the path the car took, it will be very interesting to hear how this happened. Did he fall asleep at the wheel? If he just had recent back surgery was he still on pain meds? Those things can knock you out pretty good. The time of accident was 7:30am. I doubt he was out partying all night or anything like that. Or could it all be as simple as a mechanical issue. Did he blow a tire?

Serious question. How does someone that rich not have a full time professional driver? think of all the issues he could have avoided.

Unless you're intoxicated or in a limo, I doubt anyone wants to have someone else drive for you.

Prayers to Tiger and his entire family. :noway: This year, last year, just seems like a ton of bad news. I don’t follow golf but obviously an ambassador of the game for the last 30 years. Get well Tiger.

The picture of how far off the road he was, he was clearly driving way too fast to crash like that at 730 in the morning in a single car accident. Something is not right here. I wish him all the best.

I wouldn't speculate. I hope not. Just seems worrisome to me.

Hope it's not the case again. The quotes in the article don't seem reassuring tho. "unexpected reaction to prescription medications" He Doubled up on opioids and benzos, took another strong sedative, then had THC system too. What did he expect

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

He probably does have a driver. But like a lot of celebrities, they take some drugs or booze and decide to go for a drive on their own sometimes as a form of freedom.
He crashed when he was high on meds for his back pain a few years back.

Bruv, hasn't Tiger already been stopped from weird driving like a couple of years ago, and the cops found several different drugs in his system, including two kinds of painkillers, xanax, some sleep-aid and THC... apparently all used to help deal with his back problems?

Yeah... The initial reports are that they have no evidence of drugs or alcohol being involved, but i'm going to call BS on that and at least wait for an official toxicology or something... You don't just speed off the road like that with a normally functioning brain.

Now, i'm no pharma expert, but Tiger's brain is obviously scrambled from the copious amount of substances he's been taking over the years... Xanax itself is no joke, then add another 5 things to the mix and probably years of abuse... let's just say your senses aren't going to function as they are suppose to, and combining that with driving a vehicle can easily turn into these types of scenarios...

Hope Tiger can bounce back from this and live without too many problems.

To be fair, I'd have a sore back juggling 30 girlfriends too.

Hope he's okay though for real.

I don't blame you for speculating but they said the road he was travelling on is prone to accidents and it's not unusual for drivers to pick up considerable speed (80+ mph)

If he wanted to mess up what remains of his golf career, he couldn't have done too much worse, two broken legs and a shattered ankle.

Maybe he's sick of the pressure to break the majors record.

If he wasn't on drugs he was messing with his phone while he was driving. Nobody just veers off the road for **** & giggles.

Hope everything turns out well for Tiger. Don't really expect to come back swinging into action time soon, but as long as he's okay.
