Well we are getting what most asked for letting the “kids” play. Now Ellington is getting the rest treatment. Ok by me.

Grant vs Aminu will be fun to watch.

Our kids getting good PT will be fun to watch.

Hoping this is a fun loss tonight!

Man looking at Orlando's current Roster I don't see how the Pistons loose to this team twice in a row.
At least we are playing mostly the developing players tonight but I would be surprised if they loose to a team that starts Al Faruk Aminu, Micheal Carter Williams and Glenn Ennis.

I mean one loss? Sure. Playing them again 2 nights later? That is hard to loose again.

I thought there was going to be a major drop off losing Wright for a few weeks but both DSJ and Saban Lee doing good work in this one so far combining for 20 of our 46 points thus far.

Enjoying watching saben force his way up the depth chart. Smith needs to focus on being a 2 guard or be forced to watch Lindsey Hunter game film 2-3 hours a day

If Sekou ever turns into an NBA player, it’ll be one of the biggest transformations in basketball. Dude just doesn’t look good outside of that one week last year

Lee / Hayes
Bey /
Jackson
Grant / Sekou
Stewart

That's a solid foundation to add a 2021 lottery pick to.

I guess I'll settle for a split with the Magic.

6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I like how its Lee / Hayes and not Hayes / Lee. Lee really just showing something for the first time tonight not sure I am penciling him in as a starter.

But what is clear, its even easier to take the best offer for Delon Wright at the deadline if Lee is good enough to be in an NBA rotation, DSJ looks better than expected, and Hayes is coming back from injury soon.

Wright to the highest bidder is probably the best for the rebuild, even thought I've really liked what I've seen from him and he's still almost young enough to grow with a younger core at just 28.

So do we have any kind of control over Lee?

Good draft for Weaver though. Get Hayes going and that's really solid hitting on 4 picks in one draft. Now if he can get him a star and and maybe even hit on his 2nds this year then damn.

How many years did Lee sign for with us?

Seems like he could be what we hoped Hayes would be. 21 points tonight on just 11 shots is really impressive for a kid getting his first real NBA minutes in a game. Love to see a young fella make the most out of his chance when its given.

I can already see a few weeks from now we're going to have some roster issues when Wright comes back, and then again when Hayes comes back. Will be interesting to see how Casey does with this PG log jam. I am not so certain that Hayes should just be handed the starting job back up again when he gets back.
