Letting people vote several times a day per social media account is such a weird way to determine All Stars.
It does explain how KD was a leading vote getter though now that I think about it 8-)

My bad didnt realize how on fire Suns have been.
9-1 over last 10 games and one spot ahead of Spurs.

CP is clearly better offensively, defensively and as a team leader for them. He also crushes him in all advanced stats. Booker puts up a handful more points per game. He's not better than Paul.

If that makes you feel better..sure. Cp3 was voted in by coaches cause thus maybe his last all star appearance with the emergence of younger guards..it also makes his 10th one.

Derozan is so underrated. I think everyone written off the spurs but somehow they are 5th place in a tough western conference and doesn't have a single rep

The thing is, who's spot should he have gotten? I feel like he's had an all star worthy season but its tough to justify putting him over the reserves that were selected.

Booker sucked for at least 15 games and also missed some games... He barely had more assists than turnovers most of the season and his efficiency was average...

He has played much better in the last two weeks, but two weeks does not an all-star make...

if we were going by 2 week stretches than you can make Lonzo look like an all-star...

Eh, numbers are down across the board this year. Dbpm of -1.1 not doing him any favors either. People give way too much credit to guys who have a few high scoring games. Jamal Murray has just as much reason to be upset.

The Spurs were above Phoenix in the standings before they got hit with Covid. They've also been much more severely impacted by injuries. Derozan has been a much better player on a worse team.

DeRozan: 20 5 7 on 49/33/90 splits

Booker 25 4 5 on 50/38/ 84 splits.

How has DeRozan been better? Plus Booker's team has a better record.

So do you put Booker over CP3? You have to look at it from a coaches point of view, CP3 goes to OKC who should have been terrible but they make the playoffs, Phoenix has been a losing team for a long time and now they are top 4, you gotta put CP3 in over Booker, he’s the reason that team is a winner and until Booker can prove he’s a winner he won’t get the All Star nods.
